We did it again!

We did it again!  WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO

We ran we ran!  The BF seems to like to run.  This is great!  He def pushes me a bit when we are on the treadmills which I don't have a problem with at all.  Today after work we are going back!  We seem to have a good routine going at the moment.  And now with me taking the city bus home I get home faster then if I drove.  So we get to the gym about 610 and we're out of there and eating dinner by 730.  YAY not late at all.  I really want to use the rock climbing room at the YMCA.. But I think you need to take a safety course before.  I'm going to ask about that tonight.  That would be a great work out!

Oh and how did I get the BF to start going to the gym with me?  Well we have a YMCA 1 min away from our house, and we saw on the side of it.. "aquatics center".  So one day we went in for a tour.  They have an in door heated pool, racket ball courts, a full gym, a basket ball court, a BIG rock climbing room.  So once he saw all the things we can do he got excited.  We signed up last month and he's been a trooper with wanting to go.  Definitly beats sitting at home in the winter doing nothing.. watching movies and vegging out. 

On another note... My friend Ally FINALLY started posting here again.  It would be great if all my friends gave her a warm welcome back.  her name is importally on my buddy list.  Say hello to her she's been missing from here for a while.

Today my plans are:
~To walk my lunch time walk.  Which consisted of 2 miles yesterday.. So I'm gonna do those 2 miles again today!
~To run/walk 2 miles at the gym
~To do ab exercises at the gym
~to eat well

Today for fooding I have:

Coffee
Yogurt
Salad w/ Italian dressing
Apple sauce
Special K bar
Grapes

for dinner we may have some ham/cheese sandwiches.. we'll see.

Wow!!

My husband is keen to start exercising, but not at the gym!  Once he gets into a routine and feels better about himself I might mention the gym for next winter!

As for Tatum.... we serve her whatever we are eating.  We don't force her to eat.  But if she doesn't eat what's served, she gets nothing else.  She's gone to bed hungry many a night.  And it doesn't even seem to phase her.  I know she won't starve herself, so I'm not too worried.  But I know I'm the only one who will eat some of the stuff I want to make...even DH won't eat some of the uber healthy stuff.

Men get "geeked" about the cool gyms too. 

We have a cardio theater at our new gym.  It's dark in the room with low lights.  It has 30 cardio machines with a BIG screen on the wall.  They play a different movie over and over every few hours each day.  He keeps the movie schedule in his wallet, and likes to go to the gym to watch them.  He doesn't always get to see a full movie, but he still loves it. 

Am glad you and your bf are enjoying the gym so much.  You are right, it's a great way to spend time together and a great way to keep moving this winter.

So glad to hear you two are enjoying the gym together.  It makes such a difference to have a workout buddy.  Right now, D and I belong to separate gyms, but he claims he's going to join mine.  Luckily, they're near enough to each other that we can both go on the weekends, if we like. During the week it's a whole other story!  I'm a morning exerciser and he is most definitely not . . .
