Before After

The Gym is a great stress reliever!!!!!

I'm feeling so much better today.  Thank you all for your huggs.. they were greatly needed.

After I got out of work last night I went home, changed and went straight to the gym.  I spent about 45 mins on the eleptical machines again, then did some ab work outs with an ab machine they have there, crunches on the big ab ball, and ab work outs with free weights.  I then finished up with some squats with the big ball on my back against the wall.. Oh boy my thieghs BURNNNNNNNN...

After I got out of the gym I felt GREAT!  WOW what a stress reliever the gym is!  I actually got out of there happy and was able to laugh.  My chest didn't hurt anymore from the stress I was going through.  After I got out of the gym I went home.  We made dinner and talked.  We resolved alot of the issues.. and he's going to change his ways.  I also told him he should see a therepist to resolve some of his issues.  He agreed which was super awesome.  We also spoke about how we are trying to adabt a healthier lifestyle and with the gym being a great stress relief to turn to that instead of alcohol and drugs.  We'll see how it goes but on an awesome note:  He's coming to the gym with me tonight, oh boy I'm gonna kick his butt and make him work extra hard hehehee.  For dinner we had whole wheat pasta, with his good sauce with ground turkey, and 1 slice of multigrain bread.  It was yummy and I couldn't even finish my plate I was super full.  Oh and after the gym I drank a glass of milk with a scoop of whey protein in it.

This morming I stepped on the scale and I lost a whole 2 pounds since last week!  HOLY CRAP!  I had to step on a bunch of times to believe it.. but every time.. it was right on the money!  Cardio and abs are paying off greatly!  I've even had to tighten my belt another notch!  Soon I'm going to have to buy new pants.. YAY  So I met my mini goal for october.. (to be down to 155)  Now I have to keep it there for another week and try to meet my goal for Novemeber which will be 150.  I'm so proud of myself!

Today I plan on walking the 1.5 mile walk on my lunch break, then I'm going to go to the gym after work.  I think this weekend I may splurge and get my hair cut and maybe add some blonde high lights.  It's been a while since I've done anything with my hair.

Today for fooding I have:
Coffee
Yogurt
left over pasta
apple sauce
and as always,.... water!

not sure what is for dinner tonight. But after the gym I will drink a glass of milk with a scoop of whey protein in it.
Dinner will prob consist of salads and some meat with broccalli.. we'll see

How great!

I'm so glad you were able to burn through your stress.  Exercise saves my sanity sometimes on my lunch break.  I lets me get out any frustration/agression and resets my mood for the rest of the day.  I really miss it and even get cranky when I miss it now.  Yup, I think I'm an exercise addict.  But I figure its a great replacement for other issues!

Yeah and the weight loss.  I'm so proud of your accomplishment!

So glad

I'm so glad to hear that the gym did wonders for all your stress!!  It always helps me too!!  We should work out every day just for that reason alone!!

Really, really glad to hear that he has agreed to see a T

Yay!

That's great that you guys worked it out.  And it sounds like things will be healthier in your house!  Keep up the great work!

Hooray!!!

I tell you, when I go for a run I feel as though I can solve all of the world's problems. Exercise is a wonderful cure for crappy days and stressful times!
