Hello all! :)
My Birthday weekend in NYC was Fablous!  We walked a good 20 miles lol I love NYC. The bad part was though that I got tendonitus in my foot and could barley walk all last week.  Which put me out of commission excercise wise.  BUT I rested it up and it's almost 100% better!

I also started riding my mountain Bike to work this morning... WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO what a workout!  I parked at my mothers house and rode to work.  It's about 2.7 miles but man my legs were killing by the time I got here! It felt great and woke me up!

Today is also day 1 of not smoking. Woooohooooo  I'm using the patch.  I only had bad cravings this morning when driving, then once I got on my bike to ride the cravings went away.  The patch is really helping so far!  This is great!  My bf.. he didn't make it past the morning till he broke down and bought a pack of smokes.  I told him he can't smoke around me.  It's that freaking morning to work car ride I'm telling ya, hard to beat that ride.

Mr. Bush's stimulous check came for me over the weekend.  I was going to save it.  But instead I did what he wanted us to do.. lol I stimulated the economy.. went shopping for some home stuff we needed and bought a Wii.  HAHAHA I love the wii it's great.  We've been having bowling and tennis matches all night last night. They have some fitness thing coming out next week for it.. I'm going to check that out.

I haven't done any 30 day shread yet cuz of my stupid foot.  I'm going to start it first thing tomorrow.. It will also help kill the nic fit cravings I have in the morning.

Now to check up on all of yall cuz I'm been a poopie head and haven't been around.. Yell at me please lol :)

I'm so glad you had such a nice Birthday!!!  Sorry to hear that your foot gave you a problem.  It stinks when we get sick, or hurt.  So glad to hear that your doing better this week without pain!

That's awesome that you are riding the bike to work!!!!  Its really funny how different exercises help us reach a New level of fitness!!  Keep up the good rides!

The best news is that your wearing the Patch!  I don't know what Step you started with?  Just have a plan in mind when you are done wearing them because you will still have to go through withdrawal from the last step.   I wasn't ready for that, and I didn't expect the cravings I had when I stopped using it.  To bad your Boyfriend isn't doing as good as you.  Not everything is meant for everyone.  I hope he finds his way!  Its good not to have him smoke around you, it is hard enough on your own, you don't need him adding to it!!

I am going Cold Turkey tomorrow.  I want to wake up and just not smoke.  It takes 3 days for the Nicotine to get out of my body, so I hear Cold Turkey is the fastest and cheapest way to do it.

Cardio Coach is fitness music which you work out to.  Sean O'malley is like having a personal trainer in your Ear.  He tells you when to speed up, climb a hill, or just sprint!!  It's all played to music and he tells you what to do at the right time.  You can buy his CD's, or download them on your MP3 player, or your I Pod.  If you type in Cardio Coach. com it will bring you up to his web site.  You can order all different types of Volumes!!  It really makes a big difference in my work outs having a Personal Trainer!!  You can use his music on bikes, treadmills, walking, running etc.  Hope you check it out!!!

Habits

Those habitual cigarettes are the hardest.  In the car, after eating, after....never mind.  You know what i mean.  But you CAN do it!  You can!  And so can BF!  Good luck!  Hope the foot continues to heal.  Glad you had a great birthday weekend!
