I feel like I let myself down!

boy o boy.. I feel like I let myself and everyone down.
It's almost too embarrassing to write about. But I will.
My weekend was wild.

A bunch of friends and I went to a st.paddys day parade on saturday and started drinking at 9 AM.  Well by 10PM I was passed out at my mothers house.  Me on the couch boyfriend on the floor and we didn't wake up till 5PM the next day!!!!!  I missed the race, I feel like I let myself down!  :(  My BF tried making me feel better by saying.. "at least you were training for it, and you probably wouldof hurt yourself more if you went".  Which is true because my shins were KILLING me still from pushing myself last week to get in shape for this run.
So at least I trained for it, at least I donated.. I just never went and finished it. :(  Now I know my lesson.... don't drink the night before a 5k race.

On another note.  I decided to redo week 2 again, kindof like a punishment.  Also I'm not in a rush anymore and I'ld like to take my time transitioning from level to level.  SO yesterday I did week2 day 1 AGAIN.  lol I was able to jog alot better!  I even went my normal long walking route and I did great!  Except when I jogged up the stairs wooo I was out of breathe by then.. and I did ALL the reps.  Usually I miss out on 1 or 2 due to having to go back to work.  So week 2 Time 2 again here I come.. But I can honestly say I am starting to really enjoy jogging.  I'll be in so much better fitness by the time of the breast cancer run I want to do in May. And I am NOT punking out of that one.
