Here we go again...
Well, here we are again...six weeks into another weight loss attempt and I'm falling off the wagon. So after a 2-day binge I've decided to start this blog as an added incentive to help keep me going.
I have a lot of ongoing problems at the moment: my dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness 12 months ago and we now only have a few days left. I've put on weight throughout his illness and I have been taking steps to address this, but it's so difficult with all the stress of what's happening, and my comfort eating family are also surrounding me with food! I'm also a full-time university student so meals out, nights out, socialising and alcohol are an integral part of my life...losing weight is no easy feat!
However, I am now in training for a 10k run on 7th September and from a life of PE lessons and failed gym memberships, I know that fat girls can't run! I desperately want to be back at goal of 10st 7lbs by then. So I have started training, running almost every day and eating properly, to try and get myself into a shape fit enough to run 10km in an hour and ten minutes.
