Kept the weight off...
So, i lost 8 lbs in the first 3 weeks, and i've kept it off for another 3 weeks. I stopped NutriSystem after 3 weeks for medical reasons.
I wasn't able to eat everything i needed to to stay on program.
I am currently going through tests to see if I have lymphoma, just had a bronchoscopy yesterday and it was one of the worst experiences i've ever had, maybe because i was semi-conscious throughout the whole thing.
I got my new shipment of nutrisystem, and will start up as soon as I am able to swallow without pain. LOL..
I'll be back, in a few...

Finally...
I weigh the SAME as my boyfriend. I used to weigh (at my highest) 184lbs, while he was sitting at 172.
Now he's at 173.5 and I'm at 172!! WOO WOOOOO
Nutrisystem truly works...how the hell, I'll never know.
I've still been eating my own lunch, and I'm losing weight quicker...

Progress is showing!!
Although I cannot tell that a damn thing has changed physically, other people can!
Today I got whistled at in my office cafeteria .. some random guy I don't even know. That made me smile.
Then earlier today, some of my coworkers said I looked amazing. Asked if I got a new hairstyle, lost weight, etc...
ha...I guess 6lbs makes a big difference.
I also started training for the 5k. Today though, I only walked, no jogging, it was soooo cold out this morning.
I walked 2.5 miles in 30minutes. It's amazing how time flies when you've got an mp3 player to listen to while walking.
I guess I am feeling more confident now too, and it shows.
YAY!
---forgot my NS entree lunch today, so, I am going to a chinese restaurant and getting plain chicken and broccoli (steamed).
---I've been 1/2 on NS and 1/2 off it, and I managed to lose 1 lb the 3 days I've been on/off it. Not too shabby. (finally learning to eat healthy)
I don't know where I got the idea that a 2000 calorie diet is normal... I should only be eating 1265 according to charts!!!
And that's what I'm eating - 1200 actually and sometimes a little more and a little less, so that it helps jumpstart my metabolism.

Still lost 1oz. LOL
Being Off Program for dinner - 2 nights in a row, I was a little worried to hop on the scale.
I still managed to lose 1oz - At least I can say I was able to eat healthy enough to maintain.
Feeling good and back on program. --
I would definitely lose more and a lot quicker if I stayed on program and exercised....
I'm trying ;)

Off Program for the weekend
So, this past weekend, I had a family birthday to go to and a family BBQ.
I stayed On Program with the Breakfast and Lunch - skimped out on the snacks and ate a REGULAR dinner out with family.
I can honestly say, I don't regret it one bit, because I know that I can jump right back On Program now. I think I might make a deal with myself...
Stay On Program all weekdays - and Can splurge On dinners on Weekends... BUT... I will have to start exercising.
I went to a really awesome site called CoolRunning.com
There is an article there for beginners on how to go from Couch Potatoe to running a 5k in less than 9 weeks.
It's really amazing because it shows you the right way to build up running....
The first week, first day is to walk briskly for 5 minutes, then jog for 60 seconds and then walk for 90seconds for a total of 20 minutes. (Yeah that's JOGGGGG, not RUNNN)
That's perfect! I always try and run for 20 minutes straight and wind up killing myself or stopping after the 5 minute mark. This article shows a great way to start running if you HATE running or do no physical activity!!
I may lose weight slower - but at least it's coming off.

Day 11 - a little off
Today weighed in at 174.9 --- at least it's under 175!! I'll take it!
I decided to try eating my NS Dinner entree for lunch...and i don't think that was such a good idea, I wound up being so full, I could barely fit in a salad -- let alone fruit the rest of the day.
So for dinner - since I wasn't hungry, I had and english muffin toasted with a bit of butter on top.
Tomorrow I will get back on track and won't switch up the entrees. They work well for me the normal way.

Day 10 FINALLY down
Yeah, after staying at 176.5 for about 4 days, I finally dropped 1 pound. I'm truly happy with that! YAY YAY YAY

Time of Month --- Worried
I'm a little worried about this coming week. Mid-week I am supposed to get my period. I just have to remember that if I gain wait while totally On Program, then it will be shed once my 'friend' is gone. I HOPE SO!!!
A little worried to get on the scale, soooo maybe I won't weigh in everyday.
BTW - Day 8 - down 3.5lbs.
I'm happy with that so far.

Day 7...
Today is the last day of week 1 for me!!
My goal was to lose 5 lbs...
I must admit - I cheated a little bit. The dinner requirements are 2 servings of veggies (1 cup cooked) ... and I really can't stand any of the allowed veggies - I've eaten from 1/2 - 3/4 cup each night, and last night i had 1 cup of corn...which totally didn't help.
As of today I've lost 3.5 lbs - - maybe I can lose another 1.5 lbs in the next DAY if i eat a lot of fiber??? HAHAHAH

Oopsi - Ate Corn as Veggie
So I'm doing the NutriSystem diet.
Day 6 - and for dinner everynight I'm supposed to have 2 servings of Veggies (1 cup cooked)... Mostly greens, carrots things like that. But...NOOOOO I had to go and have corn, and not inquire about it until after I ate it. Little did I know that Corn is not on the list of allowed veggies b/c it's countes as a carb!!!
AHHHHHH
My 1 cup of greenbeans is usually like 40cals...my 1 cup of corn tonight was 120 cals!! AHHH!
Oh well, i guess I will just have to get back on track tomorrow.
