Slow and Steady.... http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lessround/comments/397597/slow-and-steady

It's been almost 8 weeks and I am losing, but slowly. If I divide 12.4lbs by 8 weeks it equals 1.55lbs per week. Just shy of the average 2lb per week mark... not bad, since I'm not exercising. I wonder what my weekly rate of loss would be if I started walking on the TM???? Hmmm, something to seriously consider a few times a week.

I WI again on Monday... hopefully, there will be another loss. Until then, ciao everyone!

Comments(1) 397597 Monday, December 1, 2008 22:07:18 Starting all over again... http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lessround/comments/395281/starting-all-over-again

In January 2007 I joined Jenny Craig and weighed 307 lbs. By June '07 I had lost 30 lbs. I decided to have another baby, so stopped dieting. I am still a member of JC, but I am not actively on their plan.

My second son, Evan was born in late May '08. Weight-wise I was about where I was pre-pregnancy, 276 lbs. However, in the first 6 months of his life I GAINED all 30 lbs back I had lost on JC the year before. Disheartening - yes, mainly at how fast it came back on. I went through an entire pregnancy and didn't gain any weight (other than baby), and then after he was born managed to put it all back on.

I'm starting over again. Based on finances and the additional cost of JC foods, I have decided to give Weight Watchers Online a try. I began my new weightloss journey on 1/5/09. Almost 2 years to the day of my first attempt with JC. So far I've lost 11 lbs on WW, but I still struggle with my same old nemesis.... exercise!

Ideally for my height I should weigh between 130 - 140 lbs. Having never had a thin day in my life, I'm shooting for 130. My doctor thinks it's unrealistic and maybe so, but I want to see for myself. My husband, a very smart man, figured I need to lose 17lbs 10 x's to acheive this monumental goal. So in the spirit of "baby steps", my first goal is to lose 17lbs and go from there.

Some of you may remember me, even if you don't feel free to stop by and say HI.

Comments(3) 395281 Monday, December 1, 2008 23:08:20
