Exercise! http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/368601/exercise <DIV style="MARGIN-TOP: 5px"> <P>So Wednesday I decided - why wait until next semester to start going to the gym before class?</P> <P>Thursday admittedly I skipped, J woke up earlier than usual and I didn't have to be at class until 2pm so I decided to spend the day with him.</P> <P>But this morning, I got up early and went to the Rec before class.&nbsp; I walked at least a mile and then spent 15 minutes on the Arc machine.&nbsp; I had time to take a shower, dry my hair &amp; take my ucky stuff out to the car before class =)&nbsp; I'd like to make it a normal thing.&nbsp; So I've got 4 days to go next week (I have a relative coming in from out of town on Tuesday) and then the week after.&nbsp; After that, I've got another 5 days of classes the following week and then a week off for Thanksgiving.&nbsp; Then it's 2 more weeks of classes, and (3 days of Final Exams!)</P> <P>So between now and the rest of the semester I've got 22 more potential workouts =)&nbsp; 18 would be 4/5 of that.&nbsp; I'm still shooting for 22 though!&nbsp; Good practice to keep me motivated for working out during Christmas break, and when I start back at school next semester.</P></DIV> <a href="http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/368601/exercise">Comments(0)</a> 368601 Thursday, November 1, 2007 00:07:22 Spring 2009 http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/367982/spring-2009 <DIV style="MARGIN-TOP: 5px"> <P>As of yesterday, my schedule is officially f*d up for spring semester.&nbsp; Now I have to go 5 days (again) AND the class that they changed so I have to go 5 days instead of 4 is at 8am.&nbsp; I'm going to ask the professor I know I'll be missing classes of what exactly her attendance policy is (now) so that I know if I have to alter my trade show&nbsp;schedule for next year.&nbsp; But anyways, I think I'll just give in and take 8am classes 5x/week and attempt to motivate myself to get up and go early to the rec.&nbsp; Our rec center opens at 5:30am.&nbsp; So I should go to bed between 8-10pm *every* night so I can get up and go to the rec before class which will give me pleanty of time to exercise, shower, and not look grubby before my 8am classes.&nbsp; That's the plan at this point anyways =(</P> <P>Oh, and lost another 1.5 this week.&nbsp; Didn't report it on Monday, oops!</P></DIV> <a href="http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/367982/spring-2009">Comments(0)</a> 367982 Thursday, November 1, 2007 00:05:09 Crazy Weekend, Crazy Week http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/365139/crazy-weekend-crazy-week <P>So we went to a wedding on Saturday and I decided that I was just going to go and have fun.&nbsp; I don't drink very often (Like once a month at the most, socially), so I figured that it wouldn't kill me to go and drink with my friends.&nbsp; So we stayed up late, went and had a early am breakfast which of course threw me off for Sunday too.&nbsp; But, even through all of the shannanigans, I still lost a full lb last week =)&nbsp; I know I would have lost more, but sometimes you have to take a pit stop or else you'll throw yourself off of the train.</P> <P>So Monday &amp; Tuesday back on track, even with my bf deciding last minute that he wanted KFC for dinner, I was still able to enjoy a skinless chicken breast, a biscuit &amp; some gravy-less mashed potatoes and stick within my diet range.&nbsp; He also got cole slaw and macaroni and cheese for the kids, but I had snacked at school and was good.&nbsp; Besides, there's always leftovers.&nbsp; So I ended both days exactly on target. </P> <P>I have 4 tests this week.&nbsp; I'm not fond of my "new" teacher.&nbsp; Supposively the test that the other instructor for the course gives is super easy, and a girl who I usually get better grades than is getting an A.&nbsp; I've gotten Bs on both of her tests so I'm barely hanging on with a 91 at this point, and her class is the ONLY class I've gotten&nbsp;Bs in.&nbsp; My other test scores that I've gotten back are 102, 102, 100, 98, 97, 95.5, &amp; 95.&nbsp; So my highest test score in her class is&nbsp; 7 points lower than my test score in any other class.&nbsp; My first test with her I got an 84, and my second test with her that we just took I got an 88.&nbsp; I read all of the chapters for our non-required book and studied for over 6 hours and still got a B+.&nbsp; Seriously, what the hell.</P> <P>And we've got our closing event for&nbsp;LARP this weekend.&nbsp; I've got my final test for the week&nbsp;this afternoon,&nbsp;a convention planning meeting tonight and a book report (they call it an abstract, but I'm not going to dummy it down) due tomorrow.&nbsp;</P> <a href="http://www.extrapounds.com/blog/lehulei/comments/365139/crazy-weekend-crazy-week">Comments(0)</a> 365139 Tuesday, October 30, 2007 22:02:09 So tired!
