Exercise!

So Wednesday I decided - why wait until next semester to start going to the gym before class?

Thursday admittedly I skipped, J woke up earlier than usual and I didn't have to be at class until 2pm so I decided to spend the day with him.

But this morning, I got up early and went to the Rec before class.  I walked at least a mile and then spent 15 minutes on the Arc machine.  I had time to take a shower, dry my hair & take my ucky stuff out to the car before class =)  I'd like to make it a normal thing.  So I've got 4 days to go next week (I have a relative coming in from out of town on Tuesday) and then the week after.  After that, I've got another 5 days of classes the following week and then a week off for Thanksgiving.  Then it's 2 more weeks of classes, and (3 days of Final Exams!)

So between now and the rest of the semester I've got 22 more potential workouts =)  18 would be 4/5 of that.  I'm still shooting for 22 though!  Good practice to keep me motivated for working out during Christmas break, and when I start back at school next semester.

Spring 2009

As of yesterday, my schedule is officially f*d up for spring semester.  Now I have to go 5 days (again) AND the class that they changed so I have to go 5 days instead of 4 is at 8am.  I'm going to ask the professor I know I'll be missing classes of what exactly her attendance policy is (now) so that I know if I have to alter my trade show schedule for next year.  But anyways, I think I'll just give in and take 8am classes 5x/week and attempt to motivate myself to get up and go early to the rec.  Our rec center opens at 5:30am.  So I should go to bed between 8-10pm *every* night so I can get up and go to the rec before class which will give me pleanty of time to exercise, shower, and not look grubby before my 8am classes.  That's the plan at this point anyways =(

Oh, and lost another 1.5 this week.  Didn't report it on Monday, oops!

Crazy Weekend, Crazy Week

So we went to a wedding on Saturday and I decided that I was just going to go and have fun.  I don't drink very often (Like once a month at the most, socially), so I figured that it wouldn't kill me to go and drink with my friends.  So we stayed up late, went and had a early am breakfast which of course threw me off for Sunday too.  But, even through all of the shannanigans, I still lost a full lb last week =)  I know I would have lost more, but sometimes you have to take a pit stop or else you'll throw yourself off of the train.

So Monday & Tuesday back on track, even with my bf deciding last minute that he wanted KFC for dinner, I was still able to enjoy a skinless chicken breast, a biscuit & some gravy-less mashed potatoes and stick within my diet range.  He also got cole slaw and macaroni and cheese for the kids, but I had snacked at school and was good.  Besides, there's always leftovers.  So I ended both days exactly on target.

I have 4 tests this week.  I'm not fond of my "new" teacher.  Supposively the test that the other instructor for the course gives is super easy, and a girl who I usually get better grades than is getting an A.  I've gotten Bs on both of her tests so I'm barely hanging on with a 91 at this point, and her class is the ONLY class I've gotten Bs in.  My other test scores that I've gotten back are 102, 102, 100, 98, 97, 95.5, & 95.  So my highest test score in her class is  7 points lower than my test score in any other class.  My first test with her I got an 84, and my second test with her that we just took I got an 88.  I read all of the chapters for our non-required book and studied for over 6 hours and still got a B+.  Seriously, what the hell.

And we've got our closing event for LARP this weekend.  I've got my final test for the week this afternoon, a convention planning meeting tonight and a book report (they call it an abstract, but I'm not going to dummy it down) due tomorrow. 

So tired!

I just got done with my first of many study sessions for the weekend.  It was more than 6 hours long =(  I have 4 tests next week and 3 projects to work on!  Boo!

Now, I say + because of course, the company doesn't cut the pizza into exact eighths & I think this may have been a tad bit over.  However, I was full the rest of the night and didn't end up eating anything else, so I think I'm still good =)

I get to go to an honors meeting today...I haven't decided if I want to join the honors college.  It's a little late to be involved in the Honors Program at this point in the game, but I've been tossing it around none-the-less.  I'd have to take 20 hrs instead of 19 hrs in the Spring, and I'd have to take a combination of 21 hrs between Summer & Fall instead of just 13 hrs in the Fall, which would just be more expensive - especially since I didn't want to have to take out another student loan for my last year. 

I did figure out my schedule for Spring though.  Either on M or W I'm going to only have one class ;o I'm a bit torn as to which to make it.

I lost 3.5 lbs last week =)  I'm pretty excited about that.  I also got a 102 on my textiles test & a 95 on my math test which we got back today.

A girl in my class got engaged this weekend.  I think she's going to drop out after this semester.  Too bad, too.  She would graduate when I will.  I have 2 semesters of classes + a 6 week internship left.  It's too bad that she isn't going to stick it out.

Speaking of weddings, I have nothing to wear to the wedding I'm attending this weekend!  I don't even know what's appropriate for adults to wear to weddings ;o  I guess I get to go shopping.  I have another wedding to attend in the Spring & one to attend in the Summer.  What the hell.  Why can't you people get married in the same season so I can buy only one new dressy outfit!

We're taking the young one to Six Flags tomorrow.  At first I was worried about my diet, but J said that he'd like to just pack lunch, so that's good.  I only have to worry about drinks.  I guess if I drink Diet then that would be fine.  However, I want to still make sure I get enough water so I'll probably still take my water bottle & flavor packets in the car.  I've been really good about not drinking pop, too - but I can't imagine that they have anything else 0 pts that doesn't taste like poo.  But I'll be sure to pack pleanty of car-friendly snacks, especially if we might end up staying the night up there.
