WW Meetings

I'm back at Weight Watchers meetings!  I'm glad for it.  It was horribly inconvenient where I used to live but we moved a few weeks ago and it's about 5 minutes away from my new apartment, so I go on Tuesdays.  My points restart on Mondays.

Week 1 Results:  Gained 0.4 lbs.  I knew I would gain and I was sure I would gain way more than that.  I tracked EVERYTHING and I went 64 points over my 35 flex points!!! I know, how did my stomach even fit that much food in it, right?  It was a bad week.

Here's a new idea that I thought up, though.  I track my hunger in my little WW booklet every day, which is part of the new Momentum plan.  I started noting my emotions next my food so that I would know why I was eating something bad for me.  So on Monday when I ate a bunch of mini Twix I wrote that I was bored and on Tuesday I was really stressed out.  Friday I ate too much candy at the movie because I couldn't make up my mind between Sour Patch Kids and Milk Duds, so my friend told me I should get both.  I took that as "permission" to go off plan.  What a sad excuse. lol  On Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day late and I had too much to drink which hindered my judgement for food.  Based on all that, I created some weekly goals for myself like chewing gum when I'm bored and drinking less alcohol.

I am refreshed and ready to do well on week 2.  Yesterday was my birthday (Thank you for the birthday wishes, TatumsMom, you rock!) and I didn't even use any flex points!  I am so proud of myself.  We have 2 BBQ's this weekend so I need to plan ahead for those.  I'm thinking I will make kabobs for myself so that I don't go overboard with burgers.

I hope that you all are doing well!

First of all, both you and your friend were wrong!  You should ALWAYS pick the Sour Patch Kids!  Best candy EVER!  LOL!

Okay, so you gained.  Barely.  But you logged each and every one of those 64 extra points!  That's honesty.  That's accountability.  And you're also tracking your triggers.  Great job!

Way to go on your birthday!
