Back!
Yay!!!!! I'm back on the front page, that is so cool!!! Thank you, EP!
I feel pretty good this week. I lose almost another pound despite several parties over the weekend. Let me tell you, the social events lately have been happening ALL THE TIME. Halloween, more Halloween, birthday parties, baby showers... Another family event on Veteran's day, then Thanksgiving. Hell, there's even a party tonight and it's the middle of the week. It's amazing that I'm making it through all this!
Sorry to anyone this may offend for any reason (or if you voted the other way), but yay for Obama, too! I'm so excited about this milestone our country has hit. I posted the front page of the newspaper on the bulletin board in my classroom today.
I'm on my 3rd novel since last Monday when I got the Kindle. My husband is worried that I'll be spending more money than usual on books. hehe At least they're cheaper this way.

Such a great idea!
I don't know if I could ever get used to reading on a Kindle..I kind of hate reading on computers..like news & stuff. I just love paper, but I do hate that I read a book and then it just collects dust. Used books are harder to get rid of than you would think!!!
Yes, you've been back on the front page for at least a week now, that I've noticed. Maybe longer.Yay! Now they need to take me off since I'm heading in the wrong direction!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna record my water here since I forgot to do it on my blog today! LOL I only got 88 ounces yesterday and 78 today. You need to step it up, Leanne! 32 ozs! LOL I was doing soooo bad in the water department, so on Monday I decided to start chugging. Notice I'm getting less and less. I'll have to work on that tomorrow. My goal is at least 64 ozs, but obviously more is better. Now, if you want to count Diet Coke, then well, today I could add another 36 ounces...and if you want to add coffee...thats another 20....Well, I guess you can tell where I've spent a good portion of my day! LOL TMI I could never be a teacher. I'd be excusing myself every 5 minutes.
Well, I'm glad you are surviving all those parties!!! Have fun and keep being good! Always so nice to hear from you! But I'll leave you alone now! :)
Take care,
Shelley

woohoo!
Go you for still losing during a week of constant partying. I'm feeling the same way with all the Halloween candy lying around at work. Always any excuse for a party or food works for most of us... :P I'm glad to hear you're really enjoying the kindle. You remind me of me with always having my nose in a book. I'm excited about our new pres too though... and thanks for your comment on B. I'm trying so hard to make this month be a good one, but inevitably at least once a day I feel really depressed. Suckage. Why do relationships have to be so much work? Is it supposed to be like this?

Exciting
The election was exciting at our house. My oldest ds is 16 and in 10th grade so he was into it "a little" (as much as they can be at that age) but I was explaining the why behind this being such a big thing and he really came around and then I said "HELL, you'll vote for the next president" and he was like no way! I said yep, you'll be 20!!
WOW - I think the U.S. is definitely ready for this change and hey, maybe in 4 or another 8 years it *will* be a woman! That's the change I am wanting to see!!
Glad to see you back on the front page, by the way - you earned it!!
(( HUGS ))

Good for you!
Great for you to be losing!! That´s wonderful!
I was excited about Obama winning, too, and I don't even live in the US. But I think this is a change that will have effects on the whole world!!
That kindle thing sounds really interesting, my problem is the reading on a screen. My eyes don't do that too well for a longer time and I LOVE to read!!

Way to go!
Way to go on losing in spite of everything going on. That's an accomplishment.
