WI Monday
I was expecting a gain and I'm not surprised by the crazy amount, either. DH and I both went all-out this week with food. It started when I worked a 15-hour day on Wednesday due to open house. DH and I went out to Mexican food and our eyes were way bigger than our stomachs. After that there was a baby shower on Saturday where they served Olive Garden lasagna and bread sticks. Soooooo good! Don't forget the cake and ice cream! To top it all off, on Sunday we decided that we've already screwed ourselves over for the week's WI so we decided to have Safeway-ese for lunch/dinner. Safeway-ese, for anyone who doesn't have a Safeway, is the Chinese food you get at the grocery store near the deli section. We had general tsao's chicken and rice. Oh yes, that weight was well earned.
Here's to a week not full of junk food!
P.S. I am completely recovered from being sick. It lasted 2-3 weeks but I'm feeling 200% these days.

Sodium
Sounds like you've had a lot of sodium. Water retention and all.
Glad you're feeling better, though. Now you can give it 100%! You can do it!

hi!
isn't it amazing how when you've been sick and you start to feel "normal" it really feels like you feel incredible? =)
glad you're feeling better...don't get discouraged about the small gain. its about the overall picture

No...
I think I read the "sick" article in my Oxygen magazine earlier in the year. I'm glad the magazines are all addressing it. Because it's hard to tell when you really need to wait it out or when your just making excuses. You know?

Happy Place!
Yep, I somehow managed to pull myself out of my funk and find my happy place the other day! :)
And yes, I have been pretty good about choosing fish over red meat the past 3 days!!! Yesterday was 100% and today is, too, so far. But I'm making French Onion soup (Trader Joes frozen) for dinner and it has beef stock. Oh, well. Whatayagonnado? LOL As long as I choose fish more often than not, I'm happy. And I don't know how long I'll be able to go without a cheeseburger!
I'll just keep on trying!
I hope both of our clothes start to loosen up on us soon!!! I ran 3.6 miles yesterday and played tennis for 3 hours today..thats gotta help...right???? :)
Have a wonderful week ahead!

glad you're feeling better~!
I thought I'd commented on this post, but it looks like not. OOPS! sorry to hear you had a gain, but at least it's attributable. i like the fact that you are always so honest with yourself and with us too! i need to work on not being in denial with myself sometimes.
anyway, glad to hear you're feeling better FINALLY and post more! :)
