Monday's WI was not good at all. I gained 1.6 pounds! I behaved myself and followed WW perfectly, and I know I got my portions correct. I think what happened was that I had lost 6 pounds the previous week so my body is balancing itself out. I snuck on the scale Wednesday and I was down 2 pounds from Monday, so I'm crossing my fingers for this next WI.
School is starting soon and I am putting together my plans/syllabus. Next week begins 3 days of workshops.
This weekend we are having a BBQ so I spent a gajillion dollars on food that neither of us will be eating since we're dieting. I did get those 45 calorie hot dogs and will be making the greatest Hungry Girl recipe for pigs in a blanket. They take a long time to make but they are so worth it. You really can't tell the difference in taste, either.
Not much else to say right now. The next month is going to be very busy and full of opportunities to eat junk food. Luckily I have DH doing this with me, so we keep each other on track.

I bet that's what happened. I'm sure next week you'll be back on your losing streak.
Me too, think it was just evening out after the huge loss!! Keep up the great efforts!
Aqua Massage: picture a tanning bed - the kind that the lid lifts and you get in to lay down and then close the lid down over you to tan the top and bottom.
OK. That's what this thing looks like, then they push the controls to start the thing and the water is inside this plastic thing that runs up and down your back and legs/kneck area. Really nice!! It doesn't do your front though, probably cuz you would suffocate in there or something.
But we did 10 min and it was awesome. Next time: MORE!
The same thing happened to me! First week was 5.5lbs and then the second week, even though I was still really good was only 0.5lbs. It's really disheartening I think but we both know WW works so just have to trust that eventually things will go the right way. Oh by the way who's DH? I think I missed something!

Good luck on your next weigh in, hopefully you will be down! This is my first time doing WW and I'm doing the flex plan online. Today was actually my first day and I did pretty well, I ate a lot more than I thought I would be able to! I like keeping track of the points too (so far anyways ha) Did you lose all of your weight with WW?
Hope the school year start went well for you. And I hope you had a few good WI's as well. I know I've been sucking it up lately. I'm back on track now though! Keep us posted when you can!

I hope you're still doing well in the battle with mike for biggest loser. 1.6 up sucks, but it's ok since the week before you were down 6! i don't think i've ever lost 6 in a week before, so go you on that one! i bought the HG cookbook and believe it or not have not made a single recipe yet! i guess i'm a sucker! how did your pigs in a blanket turn out? if there are any recipes you like more than others you'll have to let me know so i can finally try one out!
