Has anyone ever been to The Ram? They are yet another company like The Cheesecake Factory who won't give out nutrition information. And it's no wonder, because I ate a monster burger on Sunday and it left me feeling yucky for the next 24 hours. I had a BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger which is exactly what is sounds like, plus it has Canadian bacon. I also had steak fries. So was I surprised when I gained a pound? Nope.
Mike is requesting that I stop buying ice cream because he always goes overboard with it. I scoop out a half-cup every night and it signals to me that my day is over. Mike takes the whole bin and just eats out of it until he feels like stopping. I think it might be good for both of us to stop eating ice cream, though.
My wedding invitations are here! My mom and sister and I are getting together on Sunday to put them together and address them. Last week I put all of the party favors together (Personalized Hershey Kisses in little white shimmer bags) and we paid the venue off completely. We also have our honeymoon all planned out and reserved through a good travel agent. We're going to Maui for 5 days and The Big Island for 3 days.
Let me tell you, it is a lot of money for a wedding. Our wedding is a cheap one and it's still going to cost over $10,000. I am so grateful for the support we have from our parents, though.

Hey...
I haven't heard of that restaurant but WOW! Was it good? I found out some of the WW point values for the flamethrower burgers at DQ and there is no way I'm having one....lol.
I bet your getting excited with all the wedding stuff! Have a good week!
How fun! Invitations and party favors!! Your honeymoon sounds soooooo great!!!! I'm super envious. I'm dying to get back to Maui again. The last time I was there I was 180! Ick.
Good luck going without ice cream! You won't miss it. Try sorbet instead. Or even better, frozen grapes!
Oh, thata sounds so nice! I love when our weekends away are rained in! Then you can just snuggle and put on a fire, etc. The slots are fun, too, though! I'm sure I'll be throwing my quarters down a few of those this weekend! Hmmm...yea, where is my party spirit? I'm sure it will show up eventually!
Never heard of the Ram. Can't imagine why you would feel sick after eating the burger, maybe it wasn't cooked properly...dunno. Anyway wow! that's expensive..ten thousand dollars for a wedding. to think I was gonna get married two years ago and it was going to be less than $300. But I always do things cheaply and I don't care for fancy stuff that much. My dress only cost sixty dollars. And the cake was $49.
As far as icecream goes, I think it's best to just buy the small pints. ben and jerry's pints or haagen dasz pints. There's less there so there's less chance of a binge. And even if Mike finishes off a pint, that's not too bad as long as it's once a week or something. A gallon icecream is more likely to binge on. I don't eat icecream very often and I don't buy it much either. I use to buy icecream for the sake of trying different flavors, not because I wanted the whole gallon. It is too easy to finish off a half gallon in a week (for me anyway). I tried that haagen dasz caramelized pear pecan and it wasn't really that good.
Dang, now I wish I were engaged LOL!! Hawaii sounds awesome! It'll be here before you know it!

Give that website to your guy (LOL) - I don't think they were too overly expensive. Of course, he got .25 ct size, so it wasn't the bank account killer, but they are gorgeous!
sounds like a dream!!! You are going to love it!!!
And your wedding stuff sounds like so much fun, I know a nightmare too but fun.. :-)
I know what you mean about things being in the house. I asked my hubby if he wanted me to make lightened up recipes or just stick to basics, he said stick to basics since it is easier to eat lighter and then we will have things we miss on our free day. So that is our new plan starting this week.. :-)
Seems like your wedding and weight loss is chugging right along. I've been gone for a while and I just got back to post today. Just too much stuff going on. Stay postivie with everything because your wedding is a great event and you marriage will be great also. Its good to see that you are still here tackling your weight challenge one day at a time. I am back for my final 50 but I will need to stop lifting weights in order to hit my new target. Weight training has bulked me up a bit but my weight has remained constant, I need to find the right mix again to get the weight down. Take care and God Bless.
just checking in since haven't heard from your corner in a while. hope things are going well with your wedding planning. ...so no ice cream, huh? that sounds like it would be hard for people like you and me. i'm proud of you though for being able to do the portion control even from large containers. i recently discovered SoDelicious (non-dairy) ice cream which is actually pretty yummy. I recommend you try it sometime... after your ice cream fast is over, of course!
