I now have most of my order from The Firm. It's weird how I am getting it in odd little pieces instead of one big package. The situation has become so complicated that it takes pages to write about. I sent a big e-mail of complaint to them and demanded that I either get everything I paid for rushed to me or get my money back. I mentioned going to the BBB if I don't get my request. I'm also planning to send a formal letter of complaint to their mothership, Gaiam Corporate. I want the founder, chairman, president and all the directors to know how incompetent these people are.
Then, this afternoon, the mailman comes to my door with a small bubble envelope from The Firm and tells me if I want it I have to pay $3.67 for postage. It had to be cash or I'd have to wait and pick it up from the post office and pay then. Luckily Mike had cash, but when the mailman didn't have change he told us just to give him $3. Huh. I think he could sense my anger when I saw that the package was too small to have all the items I was expecting. Seriously, I was going to bust some heads.
I have most of everything now. I can fully use one of the two systems because I have the cardio weights and the DVD's to go along with them. Now I just need the "Box" which is a set of stair steps that go along with the other 4 DVD's that I got. I should have just ordered one workout system instead of two. Silly me for wanting variety in my workout regimen.
We did find another giant house spider in the same bathroom. In the past week we've found two of them, one medium sized spider, and two potato bugs in the same bathroom. We haven't found any creepy crawlies anywhere else. They are getting in somehow.
As for good news, I had fun last night at a surprise birthday party for a friend. I got so trashed. There's this pizza place called Rock Pizza and Pasta and they have these buckets you can get, limit of 2. They come in colorful plastic sand pales with 5 different rums. I drank two of them plus two amaretto sours. It was awesome!

I don't know what is worse, this fiasco of the Firm, or the story about the buckets of booze LOL!! Yeah, trashed is probably a good word for it.
Well, now that you can do most of your workout - hope you can enjoy it. Those idiots need to do something to atone for this - totally ridiculous!!
Some companies don't really care too much after you have paid them and they take their sweet time. I have had similar experiences with Hewlett Packard and Gateway when buying computers. Just report them and learn from your experiences. I like my computers but I will never buy anything from these two companies through their websites again. Write the letters of complaint and report their poor performance and don't let it upset you. I learned a few years ago that whenever you are trying to do something that is positive hen their will always be negative pitfalls to trip you up.
I haven't done my Firm workout in a while, but I do love it!! I hope you get everyone you ordered and that you enjoy it. Now you have me wanting to do one of my Firm workouts. Maybe tomorrow. :)

My night to get trashed is coming again....this Friday. Instead of the concert, we are listening to karaoke. Let's hope all I do is listen. I do NOT want to make a fool of myself. I used to do karaoke all the time, but I knew all the people there. This will be a new place.
Hope you get the rest of your stuff soon. I think that's crazy and you should so report them! Next time order off of Amazon.com. It got to my house within that very week!

Long time, no see! Looks like you are still doing great! Congrats on your engagement. That is very exciting. Do you have a date picked out yet, or a location? I finally updated my blog today so if you feel like taking a peek you can see what I've been up to. I'm ready to put my shoulder to the plow again and get things moving. I recently got the new Firm set, and I love it!! I've been using those pretty much exclusively for the last month and really like them. Sorry you're having such a terrible time with them. Hopefully it will all be worth it once you get them all. Was the other set you got the Transfirmer set? That is a really good one as well. Wow, I was reading your earlier entries - that sucks big time about your firm stuff! But at least it's getting to you, bit by bit ha... and when you drink alchohol, are there any drinks that you drink that are low calorie/ low carb/ etc or do you just drink whatever to treat yourself? =)
