The title of this post describes how I feel right now. I am disappointed that I didn't lose one pound but I am not discouraged because I worked really hard this week and eventually it will pay off. I was an angel and 100% on plan. I fulfilled all my goals, too. The result was a .4 loss and at least it was a loss.
I have been PMSing like crazy this past week and the bloating has been the worst I've ever felt/seen. Jeans that fit me at 120lbs could barely button.
Next week's weigh-in will be better. Here are the goals for this week:
Drink 70 ounces of water
Exercise 4-5 days
Eat all required fruits/veggies and milk
Stay on plan
Hopefully these goals are enough to lose the last 7 pounds. Eating only 18 points a day isn't much but it's what Weight Watchers recommends for me.
On another note, how was everyone's 4th of July? We sat outside on the grass and watched a professional fireworks show on the water. They are always so impressive.
I also got hired last week as a high school teacher! I will be teaching the same reading program (Read Right) as my last school.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Great news!
How wonderful to have gotten the job you wanted! Don't worry so much about the scale. You know when you're doing your best! Anyway, the last few pounds are always the hardest to lose.
on the loss and your new job! Isn't it frustrating though when you know you did everything right and then you don't see really great results on the scale. It really gets to me sometimes. Good luck at this next WI and I hope you start feeling better soon. I hate being bloated!
For you new job, glad you get it! Thank you very much for leaving a comment in my blog. Yeah it's a bummer that I put on 1 pound but I expected that and more! I've been eating a lot, anxiety kills me sometimes, so I know it's my fault. But it's ok, I just need to start going to the gym again, work out at least 3 days a week to start until get to the 4 to 5 days a week.
I wanted to say too that you look AWESOME! You did a wonderful job and I know it wasn't easy, was it? It wasn't like you just wished to be thin and somebody gave you that. It's hard work, so congratulations!
Looking forward to read more of you!

Congrats on the new job!! That totally rocks. I am sure your WI will be better after PMS is gone. Just hate being a woman 2 weeks out of the month!! It's like we have to work our <butts> off for 2 weeks and the other two are against us... oiy!
See that weight tracker, look at how far you've gone!! So, a loss is still a loss compared to nothing, right? I wish I'd be able to have my period soon since I gained weight my moon cycle has been funky!
Teach me how this entire point system on WW goes? :) intrigued and curious as well as really interested! Hard work, phew.. knowing you were such an angel with no cheat-hits makes it all more fulfilling!!! c",
I'm sure you make an awesome teacher! You've certainly got that encouragement thing down pat!
My 4th was nice. Dad was in town and we kept our Little Princess (LP) up WAY TOO LATE to watch fireworks, but it was worth the wait. Saw some that I'd never seen before, including a few smiley-faces! That was cool, 'cause the LP could appreciate those as well. Every time one went off, she sat bolt upright, pointed, and shouted, "SMILEY!"
It's great to hear that you were hired! I have been suffering a little anxiety about finding a job myself when I graduate. Good news about next year though: there will be three new schools opening up in the Boise area when I graduate in May 2008.
I have been taking classes through the Boise State Writing Project, and guess what?! One of my instructors asked me to work with her, teaching English, reading and social studies at a charter school! Whoo-hoo! I am really excited because I think working with this teacher (who selected ME...) will be great and I will learn a lot.
BTW--congrats on the weight loss, too. I'm kind of at a plateau, so it's good to see someone who's been struggling (like me) actually move that scale in the downward direction.
on getting the teaching job!! You will do fantastic! You will be there hot teacher.. :-)
You are doing great, a loss is a loss and like you said you are PMS ing and we all know about that. You are probably retaining lots of water on top of it.
Wow, you are going to be the coolest teacher those kids will ever have!! That was my first thought: you're gonna get hit on-just like TatumsMom said! Congratulations. It sounds like things are really falling into place for you! New job, upcoming wedding, new place to live soon!
Oh, I've been meaning to tell you. We are babysitting 2 Russian turtles for 3 weeks while my friend is in Italy. They are a trip. The sleep all the time. At first they were out running around (they are fast!!) all the time, but the last 3 or 4 days they seem to be hibernating. I hope they are ok. My fish is dying, so I'm just worried about these turtles. I hope they make it until Sunday when they go home!!
Hope all is well and you are enjoying your summer! Shelley
