Payoff
Well the hard work paid off and I lost 1.6. I lost what I had gained the previous week! Now I plan to keep the same focus. We don't have any plans these next 7 days except for looking at a wedding venue so there shouldn't be a problem.
This week I will keep the same goals I did last week because I was able to achieve them. 4 days of exercise, all fruits/veggies/dairy/water.
Time to go check on all of you. Hope you are having a good week!

Good for you!
I'm glad to hear your wi went so well - yay!! =) Your goals sound very attainable too, and there is always the confidence boost of knowing you did it this past week so you can do it again! I am going to a baseball game tomorrow and i'm not sure what kind of food they have (other than hotdogs, pizza, nachos, etc.). i'm going to keep you and your last game in mind when/if I start feeling deprived though! =)
ps - I ended up going back to walmart and getting the smart ones mint sundae. haven't tried it yet though. laughed as i imagined some couple like you and mike buying out the store though! lol.

Hoorah!
Good for you for making weekly goals and sticking to them! To do things by the week makes it so less overwhelming, doesn't it?

Great plan
I need to start eating more fruits and veggies too. It's obvious that it's working for you. Great job on the weight loss and enjoy planning your wedding!

WooHoo!!!
Awesome on the weight loss!!! I knew you could do it and get back to working out. It is so hard once you stop doing it. Did ever get you some Leslie tapes? I have a huge variety so I don't get bored. I really like her though.. You can get them at Video stores, Liabraries, Netflix, e-bay, etc.. and of course her site. I am doing the 1 mile ones right now but can't wait to work up to the longer ones.. :-)

Thats great!
Good job on the loss!
Yes, aside from all the hot guys, Live Free or Die Hard was a very, very good movie! I really like the Die Hard films and this one was one of the best. Good stunts. So, yea, take Mike to see it if you haven't already.
I made a good choice at the Chinese place: seared ahi tuna and cucumber salad. And I only ate half. Oh, wait, I just remembered that I had 2 dumplings/potstickers. Those are so good. The ice cream I could have done without!
Good luck with your goals for the week!

Right on! (And soy milk stuff...)
Well done on the pound-plus loss. Keep on keepin' on!
I could wax eloquent about to soy or not to soy for paragraphs and not really add anything to the conversation that hasn't already been stated better and more succinctly elsewhere. I used to think that soy products were the sole domain of vegans and hoity-toity health junkies, but out of obligation to the "fat class" in the church basement I participated in several months ago, I did my research and it's evidently very beneficial when used in most weight-loss oriented diets. (Do any Google search for Soy Milk Benefits and you'll get more info that you'll know what to do with.) I've taken to drinking it because it's a great source of Omega-3's and vege-based protein.
Here's the real question: Does it taste any good? It takes a little getting used to. At first, I used to tell myself (as I poured it over my cereal), "Don't think of this as milk." That seemed to help, because it's different than cows' milk on many fronts, not the least of which is texture and taste. (So basically, I was trying to be intellectually honest with myself and not trick myself into thinking that this was some weirded-out milk.) Now, having been drinking the stuff for a few months, I really like it! (I don't drink the vanilla / chocolate flavored stuff.) It's a little "thicker" than skim milk, so it kind of makes me think I'm having a milk smoothie, if that makes any sense.
One more piece of advice for your first foray into soy-dom: Buy a small container first! ;-)
Take care.

Thanks for leaving me a comment, it does help a lot receiving a couple and from you especially, too c",
I should go and write down daily and weekly goal, yeah, that's a brighter idea... I just want these out and feel much better - health wise and esteem wise.
