FINALLY. I exercised for 45 MINUTES and even worked on MY ARMS FOR 15 MINUTES. Geez, I was worried about myself. I was scared that I would just stop and not get back to it. I know it's just one day but at least it's something and it keeps me hopeful. I just have to keep in mind that there's a wedding dress to think about.
The scary truth is that, before today, I hadn't done any activity at all since April 15th and hadn't been in the workout routine since March. That's almost a whole month unaccounted for. Time to get back to it! I will do this!!!
On another note, I was in a bad mood yesterday so I took myself shopping at the mall. It was beautiful outside! So naturally I choose to spend all my time inside trying on clothes.
There were a couple gems I picked up at the Macy's petite section. Yay! There's usually not much there that I like or that even fit.
I also found that I have a favorite brand of socks. Isn't that weird? They're a Macy's brand called Hue. They are great socks (the long kind), last a long time and come in nice colors.
Then there was Express. I must have spent two hours in there! The little dressing room was so full my brain was overwhelmed with what to try on first. A million times they came up to me and asked if I was finding my size while I was picking out items for the dressing room. The answer was no half the time. I asked an employee there if they had any size 0's in a certain style. She gave me a doubtful look and said, "Oh, that's our most popular size..." Are you serious? And when I inquired at the Victoria's Secret why they were always out of 34B's they said it was one of their most popular sizes.
I did manage to walk out of the mall with some great pants, shirts, and Very Sexy Victoria's Secret bras. This morning it just felt amazing to wear the new clothes. It's like a "shopping high".

Holy Cow
A size 0 girl???!!! Wow.....and I'm even more shocked they said that was their most popular size!!! It's good you're getting back into a routine. I worry about that too---that I'll take a break and just never get back in the groove AND THEN everything I've worked for goes down the toilet. Worry, worry, worry. lol. I'm glad you had a good time shopping. I LOVE SHOPPING. lol.
Shopping High! Thats amazing! I know just what that high feels like! The bad thing is I never get to experience that too often! Im glad that you took yourself shopping! I love shopping! Actually I went shopping on Saturday and I only came out spending five bucks on the shirt I was wearing to the concert! Holy Cow I thought I had died! My wallet was sure happy!
Good job on getting some exercise in! I know it can be hard to get back in the groove of things after a break! You will get back in no worries! Hope you have a wonderful evening! You should post pics of your new outfits!
I'm glad to come back and hear you got into your exercise routine. I guess sometimes we just need a bit of a change when things get boring or stressful in our life.
Wow size 0 is popular?? I never knew that. I don't know if I will ever be that size but I sure like to one day! Glad you had fun shopping and now I feel like shopping too!
Great job on the exercise. I'm so proud of you for getting back on track with that. Yes, you are going to keep it up.
And, shopping, well, that's always great! But for the record, ZERO is NOT a size. LOL!
Seriously, though, you know how much better you feel when you exercise. It's hard to get back in the habit of that, but you know you can do it. We know you can do it!
Hi, didn't you also think that shopping itself is exercise. It's the best kind because you don't realise you are burning calories and it's fun! Well done, you're so inspiring! Anyway I was wondering if I could ask a favour.. I have a burning question/problem which I've posted on my blog and don't particularly want to retype it all so could you possibly check it out when you get a moment? You seem to give the best advice Thanks x
LOL!! I told my b/f I want to shop so bad when I go there next month! Glad you got some retail therapy and good job getting a workout in!! "She's b-a-c-k!!"
I loooove that feeling!!! I had a tiny high the other day at the thrift store but will have much better highs when I get into smaller sizes and can really get the clothes I want.. :-)
I am so proud of you for getting back to working out. I knew you would when you were ready and you are going to be a gorgeous bride!!!
I've always loved to shop but now I have so many clothes, It's painful because it means if I buy something new, I've got to get rid of stuff to make room. And that's tough. This morning I was in my upstairs (guest br) closet looking at all my size 8's going - am I ever going to get there???? My size 10's have gotten too tight around the belly since I did my little balloon routine. Gotta get back to comfortable cuz' I swim in the 12's........uggh........
