Exercise and AP's
It seems to me there are a lot of complications with going off-plan for more than a day or two. Now I am no longer motvated to exercise. We did the MS Walk on Sunday and walked 4 miles, but it took us 2 hours at a very leisurely pace. Before that I exercised on Monday and Tuesday of last week.
I can't seem to get my butt out of this chair! I wanted to exercise today but now I'm using illness as an excuse. Yes, my nose is snottier than the snotnosed kids I teach and it's giving me hell, but I could just take some Afrin. That would make it better temporarily and I could go workout. Why won't I? I should be out there on that elliptical trainer, right? Right.

You Have To
Sometimes when you don't feel like it you just have to get out there and DO IT (think Nike). You'll feel better once it's done. Remeber - you have a wedding to plan and you know how time flies!

You Can!
Get motivated! You can do it! I know sometimes we get in these 'funks' but make yourself put your workout clothes on and get on that machine!

I hope.....
I hope you went ahead and did your exercise. If not, there's always tomorrow. You might just have to force yourself to do it at first. You know how good you feel after you do it, right? Right. You also know what can happen if you stop that habit. Right? Right. You've come too far to stop now. Come on....you're an EP poster child afterall! LOL!

i agree
it's always hard to get back into the exercise mode...
but don't forget ...you are fighting a cold so it's understandable.

Sick is a good excuse
If you're not feeling well then it's always hard to get motivated because you just feel drained. But when you're feeling better, crank up some fast paced music....that always, always gets me in the mood to "MOVE IT."
Speaking of "MOVE IT", did you see Dancing with the Stars last night? There was a really hot dance to that song by Apollo.
I hope you feel better soon!
And it was those darn Cadbury Cream Eggs, by the way.....I still have two left but I'm NOT going to eat them until I really need a chocolate fix and then I will work them into my calories! ;)

Get motivated and get moving!!!
Don't worry about the lag just get up and do it. I am in the same boat since Monday but as long as I start every morning i have to finish. The blahs are hitting me hard this week and it appears you have them also. just start and do what you can do and STAY POSITIVE. I feel better after every workout not matter how exhausted I am and I am pretty sure that you will feel better after you get your blood flowing again with the workout routine. The lifestyle of getting and staying healthy is far better than the alternative. I know you will be back to old form in no time!

Ya know what....
I know during the week when I take a day off for my body to rest, it's like I can't and I really dont want to workout the next day. I dread it with a passion. I would rather sit at home or be lazy than get on a machine. Somehow I drag myself, im not sure who does, but I make it to the gym, afterwards im glad I didn't stay at home. I think you just have to push yourself. I know how it is after a long vacation, and being sick but you have to get moving. Even if you are sick anything is better than nothing. Try not to kill yourself but try doing a little.
If that doesn't help im gonna get on a plane and exercise with you!
Hope you are having a good Wednesday!

Vacation Mode
Maybe your brain is still on vacation mode... but if you are sick, you are sick and need to take care of you. (( Hugs! )) I have all the faith in the world for you getting back on track... so what if it takes a few days??

hope you were able to finally make it
...back to the gym. i know it is tough to find that motivation when you've been on hiatus for a while - at least it always takes me a little extra effort once i'm not on my usual routine! =)
