Goals
Ok time to write out the weekly goals:
- 15 or more AP's
- Eat one apple and one yogurt every day (I am fully stocked for the next 3 weeks!)
- 100 oz. of water every day
- Stay on plan
That should be enough for this week. We have no plans until Monday when we leave for our trip. Yay no plans!!!
We just filed our taxes and filled out that stupid required government survey. I'm going to use my tax return to finally finish paying off my credit card. It's been too long since I spent all that money on new clothes!
Next up for the week is paying the bills and then we're off to act like kids in Cali.

No plans rock!
I love having no plans! That's the best feeling. It hardly ever happens, so I definitely enjoy it when it does!
You are going to have so much fun when you go to Disney! Oh please take me with you!
I like you goals. Those are good! You can do it!

yuck. i weighed myself again this AM and have still not bounced back. it's ok though - you're right, perhaps i should use the tape measuring trick. or better yet, just go by how my clothes fit!
hope you have a great on plan week... and just think how much fun you'll be having a week from now! good job on finishing taxes - i'm 90% done and can't seem to make myself do the last 10%. :P

Goals!
I love your new goals for the week! You are going to do them with no problem! Yay, for no plans! Goodness, I love weeks like those! This week, I was supposed to have a no-plan week but, all sorts of things have popped up and well we have to roll with it.
You made me laugh when you talked about how you have to eat an apple and a yogurt a day because you have enough to last you weeks, that sounds like me. When I buy in bulk sometimes like at costco or something is on sale haha I really do take advantage of it, however if I dont eat it, it goes bad, so im just like you eating it every single day until its halfway gone! After that you dont want to ever eat on what you stocked up on!
Im so excited for you!!! You deserve a nice vacation and what a better place than DISNEYLAND!!! Im so excited! You get let yourself loose and be the kid that in you! I wouldn't worry too much about your eating. Last year when I went, I was nervous I was going go gain weight etc. but I ended up losing weight. Plus all the walking you are going to be doing in a day, trust me is more than enough exercise! So you got that down. Plus alot of the resturants have healthy options, well most of them. There is a cart on main street that sells fruit which is soooo yummy. I ordered kids meals which was more than enough. The best part is when your having fun, your not thinking about eating too much.
When I went I took a couple granola bars to help me when I was hungry just because everything in the parks are tripple what they really are!
P.S. Don't forget to go to downtown disney and stop by the chocolate store and get me lots of candy!
I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

Good ideas!
I do eat yogurt everyday, but not apples. I should eat them. My husband loves to eat them everyday.
I thought it was a good idea that hey alexia suggested to bring a granola bar. I never thought about that. Even the kiddie meals.
Yea we gotta go our taxes too. My husband is famous for doing them last minute.

An Apple a Day
I have been eating an apple every day since the fall, and one would think I would be sick of them by now---but Im not. So yummy!
Here's a trick to get both your yogurt and your apple in one foul swoop: Chop an apple and micro wave it with a little cinnimon for a couple of minutes. then mix in plain yogurt (Im sure vanilla would be good too). Super yummy!
Great goals for the week!

I like your idea of paying off credit cards..
It sounds like you are wanting to change your financial situation, or at least improvement. You need to get SUze Orman's Women and Money. I got the cds and have listened to it all in 2 days. All 6 CDS. Theres a code in there to get free money. She also answers all the 401k, saving and insurance questions that you always wondered about but were afraid to ask. You might could check it out at the library, I wished I had heard it when I was 25!

APS
I am curious about your APS. How many times a week do you work out? If I work out four times a work, I'll only earn 5 APS. I workout at Curves and I only get 1AP and then I've started a Denise Austin DVD and I get 2 points for a 20 minute workout. So, how do you get all those APS and do you eat them all?

I want no plans
If I would have been smart, I would have taken a day off this week while my son is gone (Wed-Fri) LOL!! But nooooooo!! Anyway, I will work on that one. Have fun in Cali (where do you get to go?) -

Reading program
I just read on Manderlyh's blog that you are a resource teacher! Well, I know all about that! My oldest kid was in resource from 1st through 4th, and my youngest has been doing the reading program since, well, looks like it will be 1st through 4th as well! Hers is called Dragon Reading. Kudos to you! We love the resource teachers!
Where in California are you going?
You asked why I'm on a low carb diet. I am prediabetic and have to avoid complex carbs. I've been good about it anyway, since I try to eat as many whole foods as I can anyway. So, I have been freaking out more than I should be. I'm just scared to death of full blown diabetes, which is genetically predisposed for me. My grandma, grandpa, and 3 uncles all had/have it. Everyone except my mom got it. Anyway, I just have to tweak a few things and I will be fine.
Enjoy your vacation!!! And eat your apple and yogurt, too!

Disneyland?
I just saw where you are going and I'm really jealous!!!!!!! I love that place! And I was just near there for my shopping spree...so, if you want good shopping, go to South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island. Of course, Downtown Disney usually satisfies my shopping bug when in D-land!
Have fun!!! I might take my girls there the week after Easter, but I'm worried about the crowds. I hope it isn't too crowded for you!

Oh good!
Glad you liked the warm apple/yogurt combo... it does feel like a total treat!
I also like mixing a half cup of yogurt with uncooked oatmeal and some frozen blueberries and letting it set for several hours or even over night. SO GOOD.
