Exercise 5 days this week and get at least 15 AP's
Daily points reduced to 22 points per day rather than 24 points
Most importantly - STAY ON PLAN
So far so good! Alexia sent me several articles to read about fluctuations but my favorite by far was this one. It described how I was feeling on Monday to a T. Today the scale said 113.4 so that's even more confirmation.
If I've learned anything it's that I still have a lot to learn about weight management. I've been getting great ideas and info from all of you and I am so grateful for that!
NSV Time:
Someone brought in a two-layer chocolate cake with pumpkin filling in the middle. I watched people cut slices big and small, listened to them talk about how it was a "little piece of heaven"... And didn't take any! I didn't do like last week and get Skittles or red Swedish Fish from the vending machine, either. I put my hands on the little bags of gummy worms at the grocery store because I was having a craving. Then I decided 6 points was not worth it for what looked like 10 pieces. Lots of NSV's today, things that a week or two ago I would have just given in.

Informative post!
I always wondered why I weigh almost 5 pounds heavier every Monday than I do on Wednesday. I keep a positive mindset because i have just attibuted it to salty foods and beer on the weekends. I do notice weight fluctuations when I weigh in every day after my bike ride and I only document the official WWW weights. I use the bad days as motivators to get me to work out a little longer or eat more raw vegetables. I guess there is a reason for everything and if we figure out what negatively affects us then we can eliminate it if we want to. Take care and keep maintaining your healthy lifestyle!
i'm glad you managed to avoid the slice of heaven or whatever said goodie was being called today. your body is greatful and mentally i'm sure you are thanking the heavens NOW that you didn't have it because it wouldn't have been worth it! keep at it - the 5 lbs will disappear soon enough. i'm glad the scale adjusted some this AM too - more confirmation that it was a fluke! =)
Hey girl! U are so ok! I am so proud of you for remaining in control of the situation! GOOD JOB!!!! It is not easy to turn things down (FOOD)... esprcially when people are walking around calling it a little piece of heaven! GOOD LORD! I am very proud of you! 80 oz of water... damn!! that is alot... but then again you are more active than i am... hey how old are you?? I was curious! I know that you are over 21... just curious!! love, Jen
I'm hoping we will all reach the point where we can enjoy a little "taste of heaven" and have the courage to confine it to just a taste. Didn't someone say "moderation, not deprivation"?
You could resist a chocolate cake. I prolly would be making all kinds of excuses in my head on why I should have a piece. I guess those points from WW program really help see how much calories and fat it takes to eat a slice. What does NSV means? I'm interested in reading the article but will do later when I come home.
I think we all need that support to know that everything is going to be okay! I know just how you were feeling, because I think at some point we are are going to have to go through it or already have! However, i think its just a lesson in the road, one of the many of learning this lifestyle change! You passed it with flying colors! You didn't give up and you held on strong! So great job!
I love NSV as well!!! They just let you know how far you really have come! Keep up the good work!
Rotel is Velveeta cheese and a can of Rotel (diced tomatoes and chiles) It may be called something else in WA, but down here in Tennessee, we just call it Rotel. LOL! It's just cheese dip. YUM! YUM!
Girly you are doing awesome!! NSV's rock!! Its so hard to tame our cravings, especially whey they have been getting the better of us in the past. I"m glad to see your scale is going back down!! I know there was no way you could of gained 5 lbs in a day!!
Great goals you have set for yourself too!! Maintaing is always hard to do!! And life is always a work in progress! The main thing is your not giving up!! Keep it up hon!!!
~Jenn
P.S. I just have to say, I hit my 10% goal today!!! I'm so stinking excited!! Ok i'm done now! LOL
You are so very welcome for the comment it was the truth !Way to go with turning down the cake & other temptations you were faced with this probably doesn't work for everyone but it works for me if I really am craving something : Popcorn & rice cakes are good Quaker has a flavor when you can find them called Cracker Jack & they are awesome !
You have developed your strength & determination for the good you know that this is an unpleasant journey to be on & you have made up your mind that you are not giving in ! Your brain is making the decisions & winning instead of your stomach !
