Need Sleep...LOTS of sleep
Good afternoon,
What a week...and it's only Monday. I've decided that working 6 days a week is not good...it's good for the paycheck, but it's not good for my sanity.
The one light at the end of the tunnel...SPRING BREAK!!! I have this week and next week, then I'm off for a week. Can't wait. I have no plans, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in past 5:30 a.m.
I started Atkins again today...I'm doing pretty good and day one is almost over. I want to get my blood sugars under better control and get off insulin. I started moving towards the kitchen to find something to eat (I'm sure I would have picked something NOT on the OK list) but I decided to come here and do a little blogging instead.
I found my mantra in the WW magazine last night (I'm not doing WW, but I like the magazine)....
"I promise to embrace my inner diva by getting a pedicure before stepping on the scale.
I promise to walk with attitude even when I don't feel good about myself. I'll fake it - who needs to know?"
