119.8 Lbs. AGAIN???

I went to my dietitian yesterday and I maintained from last time I saw her.  I keep seeing the same stupid number on the scale... 119.8 lbs.  My measurements don't seem to be going down much either.  Maybe it's time to exercise more/change things up.  Eat less as well.  Today's been crummy.  It's almost 3 p.m. and I've already had 780 cals. :( Well, that was an estimate.  All I have to go is dinner.  Hopefully it's not too horrible.

Exercised for about 1.5 hours today, but yesterday was better.  Did about 3 hours.  This whole week I was sorta lazy, though.  An hour-1.5 hours most days.  Felt so lazy and crappy.  Geez.

Okay, I Was Excited For A Minute...:(

Hello!

I've been browsing and commenting on blogs just now.  I was seeing a lot of people losing weight and inches, posting their "stats", so I got excited about doing mine as well.  I thought, "heck, might as well do my measurements!" as I haven't done them in about two weeks.  That's a LONG time for me.  I usually do them every week.  Bleh.  What a mess that turned out to be.  I did my measurements, and pretty much everything but my thigh size (which went down half an inch, yay...) stayed the SAME.  I thought something would change.  What a disappointment I am!  And I see my dietitian today for a weigh-in and whatnot.

Today is a serious "fat day" for me :( I feel like the biggest blob you've ever seen.  I mean, everything's hanging out.  It's really not attractive.  Nothing fits properly.  My self esteem is terrible.  So...  I have to go soon, and I have to gas up the car as well.  Hope I have money!

Wish me luck in losing a couple of pounds at the dietitian's office today!!!  Thank you in advance!!! :)

New Scale And NEW JOB!!!:)

Hi!

About two weeks ago, I got a new scale!  I'm weighing with clothes on (long story... don't ask), so the weight is slightly higher than last time I weighed in.  It's 120.4 lbs.  That's only 1 lb.  down from last Saturday, and Saturday is my official weigh-in day.  BOO!!!

However, I do have some good news!  After months and months of searching, I have a new job!!!  It's at a local clothing store.  I am soooo nervous!!!!  I hope it's not too stressful, and that they don't make me do cashier work.  I've tried that a couple times, and am not capable of it!:( Now I just have to figure out what to wear!

All This Stuff!!!:)

So someone commented that I'm almost underweight (at 5'4" and 121 lbs).  According to Extrapounds and a couple of other sites I've seen, I can go as low as 108 lbs. and still be healthy!  So I'm perfectly fine and have some lee-way!

Whew, what a workout today!  I mainly use my Nintendo Wii to workout, but I do other things while using it.  I did:

15 minutes kickboxing
45 minutes fast dancing
20 minutes Wii Sports Bowling
1 hr Wii Fit

So that equals out to a 120- 140 minute workout, depending on if you want to count the bowling or not!  Either one is pretty good, and it's working for me!

Officially Lost 50 Lbs.!!!

I've lost 50 lbs. in 4 months!!!  I'm so proud!!!!  I wish someone would comment on my postings.  I know I don't do them very often, but please!  I will try to comment more often as well. And now I will do my measurements! So excited!

Getting There!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to say that I'm 125.5 lbs. today!  Yay!  We went to the beach a little over a week ago and I got such a bad sunburn!  Now it's all itchy!!! EEK!:(   Always remember to re-apply!

I got a new game for my Nintendo Wii that I could just play for hours on end:) It's Wii Sports Resort.  In fact, this morning I got a little crazy and played it for an hour and a half.  Usually an hour is good enough and then I cut myself off.  But it's tons of fun!

So I did 50 minutes exercise (kickboxing, dancing) and then 90 minutes on "Resort" this morning.  Whew!

Made It To First Goal Weight!

Hi!

I made it to my dietitian's goal weight of 135 lbs. as of 7/15/09! Now I have exceeded it by 1.5 pounds.  That brings me to 133.5 lbs.  The bad part is, I have a sprained ankle.  It's not too bad though.  Everyone keeps telling me to limit my exercise to 30 mins per day, but to be honest I really haven't stuck to that.  I've been working out about an hour a day. More if you count walking and stuff like that. 

Today is my niece's birthday and we're having a pool party!  She's turning four years old:) I can't wait!

10 Lbs. Away From Dietitian's Goal Weight!

Well, it wasn't exactly what I had planned, but... my dietitian wants me to stay awhile at around 135 lbs.  I'm female and 5'4" so that puts me well in the "normal" weight category.  *Whines* but I had planned on getting down to 120 lbs.!!! I know... people keep telling me that I looked "too skinny" at that weight.  I didn't think so.

So my next plan is to lose these next 10 lbs. and then do a lot of strength training to get ROCK HARD ABS!!! Heehee!  Even at my skinniest, I never had really defined abs.  I want to build up some muscle!  I've already started.  I won't stop my cardio altogether however.  For some reason, I find it oddly fun.  But have to bump up my strength training.

Today, it's only 7:30 a.m. and I've already done 30 minutes cardio and 15 minutes strength training!  I have to tone it down a little bit today though because I overdid it a little yesterday and pulled a muscle or two in my leg. Ouchie!  I also plan to do push ups, sit ups, and lunges, 100 each.  Not sure how much time that will take me, just about how many reps I will do. 

Well that's about it!  Off to find something to do!

Seroquel Plateau?

Hi!

I've been at this weight of 159.0 lbs for a looooooooong time, more or less.  I think my Seroquel is to blame.  I'm doing everything I can to lose weight, I've even switched up my exercise routine (more about that later, I think), and nothing. Zip. no weight loss at all.  Tonight, I see my doctor, so I am considering asking him to take me off of Seroquel.  I mean, I don't think it does anything for me.  I don't take it for sleep anymore.  I used to. I don't anymore.  I just kinda take it for no reason that I am aware of.  I am most definitely overmedicated, so one less pill couldn't hurt.

Anyway, here's the new exercise routine that I spoke of:
Wii Sports: 30 mins every day
Step Machine: 30 mins most days
Resistance bands (sometimes with the step machine) 30 mins most days
Crunches: 100+ every day

I'm hoping to add walking to my daily routine as the weather gets warmer, but I don't know... I help babysit a lot, so it can't be every day.  That's why some things say "most days".  I guess running around after a three year old and a 1 year old counts as something as well:)

NEW ROUTINE!

So I dug through my mess of a room and found my step machine (got it fixed too) and my resistance bands. 

Here is what I'm already doing:
30 minutes walking ( every day)
100 or more crunches (every day)

To that, I will add 30 mins step machine (every day), and I guess 20 minutes resistance bands (every other day).  I know there was a dvd that came with the resistance bands, but I don't think I liked it.. i think it was cheesy.  It's been awhile though.  Anyway, just want to know... how many calories do you think I'm burning by doing these exercises?
