Packing Day

So today is the day I will be packing all day for my trip up north in Jersey and PA. I plan to squeeze in a workout while my daughter nap and I'm going to try to remember some of the exercise from Gilad to use while I'm away. Some workout is better than none.

I wasn't happy yesterday when AJ's mother decided to buy us pizza to thank us for feeding her dinner last week. I'm thinking oh great, so much for trying not to eat anything unhealthy before I go on my trip. But after she left, my hubby told me that he's going to eat some grapes to "clean" out his body from that pizza. I thought that was a good idea and ate an apple to see if it helps. Well I didn't gain anything which I'm glad to see. so maybe it does help in some ways. I will be buying some apples on my vacation to eat at the end of the day to "clean" my body.

I will not be able to comment or post a blog much until I get back and I will not be back in Florida until April 30th. But I will still be able to read your blogs when you update. I found an RSS email feed that will automatically send me an email to my pager when you update your blog. I absolutely love it because it's so helpful to keep reminding me to watch what I eat and motivate me to get my workout in. I get excited when someone update their blog and I can read it while curl up on the couch, riding in a car, or shopping. I'm never far from you guys. At the same time, it can be frustrating because I can't comment when I want to say something. I have to wait until I get on the computer.

I hope you all get closer to your goal when I get back and I'm gonna try to drag myself and my mom out in the cold weather to get some walking in. Have  great day!

Tuna Fish

I noticed I lost weight easily when I eat more tuna fish. I googled to find out why and here is what I found.

Exercise and Fish Oil Leads to Weight Loss

I don't take fish oil but thinking maybe adding it with my vitamins because I know I don't eat tuna fish every single day.

I also noticed a big improvement with my skin. I don't break out during the week I eat tuna fish but when the weekend comes, I started breaking out from eating out and no omega-3 in my diet for 2 days. So time to go back to tuna and grapes, too!

I did a lot of walking this weekend with shopping and Epcot. My feet hurt at the end of the day, so I know I got a good workout from that.

I have the 2 toddlers again today and they're already running around in the kitchen and fighting over a chair to sit in.

I've doing some of Gilad workout whenever I am waiting for something like hot water to boil, or food cooking in microwave. I've been really busy with laundry to get ready to pack tomorrow for our trip north in NJ and PA on Wed. I'm not looking forward to going in the cold weather up there. But it's only for 12 days, thank goodness.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Shorts

I got to wear my size 10 short yesterday and it's soo comfortable. I felt good wearing it when I put it on in the morning and it help remind me how much I lost and worked hard for it.

As the day went on, I noticed the shorts start to feel kinda big on me. I wasn't sure if it was stretch out from moving around or I lost inches thruout that day? My weight is still the same but I feel more small and tighter around my hip area. I was doing some Gilad workout with hips and buns and oh boy, does he make you burn! So my heiney feel tigher now. I noticed a strange pattern, one side of my butt is smaller than the other. Have that ever happen to you? I noticed the same thing with my arm. I guess maybe I need to add more reps on the other side to keep up.

I had a pleasant Friday night when my daughter went to sleep at 7:52pm! I was soo thrilled. I have major bedtime battles with my 2 year old and still trying to work on her to go to bed early. And she did yesterday. Don't know how long that will last! Ha!

Hope you all have a great Saturday and I'm checking on you all now. Smile.

Wednesday

I had an interesting Wednesday. I decided to meet up with some Moms from church for a playdate. We met at a park where they have the playground but it was closed for repairs. We went to a different park which is more quiet and pretty than the other one.

I didn't know if I was going to get my workout in depending on how long this playdate last. Also I was really far from my husband's work and the Y. My friend kept paging me that she wants me to stop by her house to see me. She hasn't seen me in over 2 weeks since before her surgery. So by the time, I finish the playdate and our lunch at the park, I needed to drop off some library books and there was no time left  for the Y.

I had a pleasant day though and my daughter got to play with a lot of kids. I was exhausted from just driving around a lot. Who knew that driving around is like working out with your eyes?

But today I am going to hang out with my friend Gilad from Fit Tv. No AJ today and time to get back on track.

AJ

Yesterday, I had a better day babysitting AJ. I was trying to find a way to make him take a nap so he wouldn't be up all day and become cranky at the end of the day when his mom comes to pick him up. His mother told me to put spongebob on and he will go to sleep. I saw the opposite, he was overstimulated and over excited when he watchs that show. No way he will take a nap.

Then I had an idea. I was talking to his mother about this show I was watching called Planet Earth on the Discovery channel and how amazing that show is. Then I remember that show also have soothing music with a woman voice in the background. So I decided to see if that will lull AJ to sleep. When I first had it on, he became excited when he saw the animals. I thought to myself, this doesn't seem to work too. But I kept watching it anyways. My daughter was asleep within seconds that show came on. About 15 minutes later, I noticed AJ laying down on the floor with head on the pillow. I crossed my fingers hoping this is it! He simply pulled a blanket over him and closed his eyes. He was out. I was happy. Then my home was quiet.

That could have been the time for me to workout but I was sooo exhausted from chasing after these two little toddlers all morning, I decided to let that be my workout and took a nap along with them.

My eating is good and weight is stable. So not much going on in that department. I'm going to check up on all of you. I know I am getting behind. I will blog more tomorrow morning.

Busy Monday

I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get a chance to work out with Gilad yesterday. I had to babysit another toddler with my daughter. They're the same age. AJ, the other toddler, doesn't come to my place very often and it took some time for him to warm up to us.

I didn't know his routine for nap at home. I tried to get him to relax and take a nap but he just refuses to do so. One thing I can understand why is because this place is new to him and he's too overexcited with all the new toys and playing with my daughter. My daughter tried to resist nap too but she couldn't keep up with AJ, so she laid down on sofa and slept for an hour. Even during that time, I was hoping AJ would follow, but he never did. So no workout.

However, I am glad to say this morning, I was able to get rid of all the sodium in my body from eating out all weekend. I'm back to my 139 weight.

I'm noticing a lot of people losing weight this month, even thru the holidays and vacations. Even if we gained some, we know how to take it off in a few days. It's so nice to hear other success with the weight loss and I learn soo much from you all EP bloggers. You guys give great idea on weight loss tips and great insights with our emotions and feelings that go with it.

Well, I'm babysitting AJ again today. I don't know if I will have him again this Thursday, but I'm hoping not because I want to get my workout in this week. I know today is not possible for a workout unless he actually go to sleep.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Easter

Easter was an interesting day for me. We got up early for church and they had some beautiful songs they sung at church. I always love the Easter program since they're always full of music.

We went to Cheesecake Factory for brunch and we were glad to get there before noon when it got crowded. My daugher, unfortunately, threw a huge temper tantrum while we were at the restuarant. She was obviously very tired from church and she had a sugar crash since I learned someone gave her an easter candy during nursery at church.

We all went home and took a 3 hour nap. Boy, we were just exhausted. I didn't sleep well the night before. Only 5 hours of sleep. Which is not good because less sleep = weight gain.

We had a little easter egg hunt for my daughter in our apartment and she absolutely love it. So I heard her saying "Where, where?" "Oh! There it is!" all day long. It was her first easter egg hunt.

We went to Roadhouse Grill which I thought was okay. We had a gift certificate to that place and thought to try it. Not a place I would go back to.

We went home after that. Just a relaxing Easter day for us. I only had 3 pieces of jelly beans and a peep. No chocolate in our house which is good. Now I gotta get rid of all the sodium in my body from eating out all weekend.
