Exhausted!
One thing I learned as a Disney seasonal passholder is to never go to Disney the day before you go to work unless there is a special reason to do so like last night Christmas party. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party event was sold out last night and boy it was crowded. We thought it wouldn't be as crowded because you have to pay admission plus an extra 35 dollars to be able to attend the party at Magic Kingdom. If you don't, you have to leave the park at 7pm.
They gave out free hot chocolate, apple juice, apples and cookies around the park which was nice, but I took 2 bites of their sugar cookie and it wasn't that good. Even my daughter didn't like it and rather eat the apples! The hot chocolate was good and it got cold in Florida! It went down to 47 degrees and I felt sorry for the people who were still wearing shorts and tshirts. Maybe 47 degrees was warm for the northerns, but it was really cold for us Floridians!
Their Christmas Twas show was the same but packed! Then they had Christmas parade. The parade was very different than their everyday parade. They had all different kinds of scents from their floats like pine tree, candy cane, and the gingerbread house (that one got me hungry!). It was all very pretty and we had a great time watching the parade.
Afterwards, they had the fireworks and their usual show on stage in front of the castle. They also had Belle's Enchanted show at 11:15pm, but we were so cold and tired that we left after the fireworks.
This was the first time I attended one of Disney's party and with the extra money you have to pay for to get in, the only thing different was the parade and free food. I don't think it's worth the extra money and I was disappointed because I thought there would be more to it than that.
While at Disney, for some reasons, I got some bad cramping in my stomach. It would come and go throughout the night but this morning it was bad. I'm not sure why butI'm hoping it will go away soon.
My husband's pedometer logged in over 9,000 steps last night. It was not as much as it was on Saturday. MK is a smaller park than Epcot.
My weigh in this morning was the same and I got my workout from all the walking last night. Other than the cramping, I feel great!
Positive Attitude Quote: Be a Do-er Not a Critic
A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It's easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change.
