So 139.5 decided to show up on my scale this morning and of course it had to be on a Friday. I decided that this weekend I am going to avoid going out to eat as much as possible. I will be informing my husband that I will be making food and dinner at home this weekend. I don't like to cook but it's definitely worth it for my weight loss.
Thank you all so much for your encouragements and sharing your advices and tips to me. It definitely helps send me skinny vibes! For those of you that ask for my 140's vibes, I'm happy to send it to you as well. I don't want the 140's. I'm soo sick of it!
I enjoyed shopping at the mall with my friend. We were there for 4 hours and that's a lot of walking. I'm proud of myself for making good food choices by having grilled chicken for lunch and I bought my "emergency" snack when I am tempted to have Annie's pretzel or Cinnabun each time I walked by it. I like to keep Odwalla bars with me to keep me from making bad choices. My husband and I like to argue over these bars because we both like them very much. We buy them when we travel on planes and road trips. It really helps fill us up.
I noticed many of you do clothes reward for your weight loss success like buying a dress a size smaller and the size you dream of. I realized I haven't done that and should try it. There is a magazine I get in the mail called Title Nine. I love their clothes and bathing suit during the summer time. I remember last year they had this nice bathing suit in orange and brown color. I thought to myself that I would buy it if I weigh 135, but I never got there. It never occurred to me that I could buy it and save it for later. I'm sorry I didn't buy it because they don't sell the same bathing suit every year. They are quite expensive but I can't help liking their clothes. So I decided next summer I am going to buy a bathing suit in the size I like and use that as my reward.

Lauren you are doing awesome! Great choices, lots of walking..WTG!! Send me your skinny vibes, I need lots of help. I have a ways to go but I'm on my way!! haha... Thanks for your encouragement on my blog. Have a great day!!
130's?! How awesome!! I totally know how you feel though about not wanting to do anything to push you back into the 140's.
Thanks for the link to Title 9 - they have some great stuff, including a baselayer top and bottom that I need for my trip to Antarctica. (Looks cheaper than Patagonia).
Congrats !!!!!!! Hello new decade!! I'm so proud of you for getting in the 130s like you wanted =D You're right about cooking and weightloss...it's worth it in the long run(compared to pizza..mmm..pizza..hey!)
Take care and have an awesome weekend! Thanks for the comment, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your blog!
I cannot find the 12 Protein superfoods on the Abs Diet website. I think maybe you meant to leave me a link. And now I'm so curious I must know what they are! LOL LOL
So I hope you can let me know what they are. I would guess Salmon, chicken breast, egg whites... but I could be wrong. I appreciate it emi
are the best!! I can NOT WAIT UNTIL I can buy my Rock & Republic jeans! So hopefully I will be buying mine the same time you are buying your bathing suit!
Great job girl! Send me your 140 vibes again! I need them.
I love rewarding myself with things that I want. My problem is that I either don't have the money or I want it so bad I can't wait. lol. Sounds like I have a BIG problem! lol. I'm so happy for you!
I read on someones blog that you reached the 130's!! Yay!! Congrats! Welcome to my decade! Oh, and please take my advice: don't buy clothes that are too small in hopes of losing weight to fit into them! It always backfires!! When you are ready for your reward, then take yourself out to get that perfect outfit in the already perfect size that you are at that time. Make sense?
Oh, and yea, you haven't heard of my new cat food diet? Its full of calcium & protein and its really filling. Besides, you don't have to ever decide whats for dinner! Cat food! LOL I am only kidding!! Please do not take me seriously...I do not eat cat food!!! :)
Hey, you're out of the 140's and that's always a good thing. Seems like the 160's was the hardest for a lot of people including me.
Good luck this weekend with food. It sounds like you're ready to commit to eating healthy because you plan to tell your husband that you are going to be cooking at home for meals.
