I seem to be forgetting to drink my water since I've been working out more. I don't know why. I'm always good with my water intake everyday but lately I haven't been paying attention and I keep getting water retention in my body. I'm trying to make an effort to drink more water and calculate how much I've drank for the day.
I know how important it is to drink your water to keep yourself hydrated, but it also speed up your metabolism especially with cold water. Sometimes it makes me feel cold like it's in the 40s outside instead of 80's. So I will be drinking my water all day.
I'm also trying to have at least 4 grams of fiber in each of my meals and snacks because I've read how it can keep you full longer. It's not easy but I will figure it out somehow.
I went to the Y yesterday and tried the stairmaster with a friend for 20 minutes. It wasn't easy and it sure got me sweating real good. Elliptical machine for 20 minutes and some weightlifting. I'm getting bored with the elliptical machine for now, so I'm gonna go back to running on the treadmill tomorrow.
Hope you all have a great skinny Tuesday!

You're all set
Looks like you know exactly what to do. Have a great day!
Water is sooooo important. Especially if you are increasing your fiber intake. By the time you have all that fiber and all that water, you won't even be hungry. But, then again, physical hunger is not always WHY I eat. But, still, I digress.
I think changing up your workout routine can be good. Keep up the great work!
That is funny, I'm the opposite. When I'm not working out that's when I usually have a hard time getting all my water in!!! You're doing great! How's the weightlifting going for you?
Right back atcha! Drink that water!! A lot of people forget about water in the winter and colder months, but we need it just as much then as we do when its hot. My problem is fruit. I don't get enough...well, I don't get any, actually. I'm going to work on that.
Yes, very happy about my knees and knowing what to do!! :)
Hiya Lauren, well I'm not sure if EP tells ya what time I put up a post or a comment but girl, I gotta tell ya- it's 3:42 a.m. and I have my alarm set for 5:30- A.M. -- LOL yes, I don't sleep all that much, my idea of sleeping late is going to bed at 6:00 a.m. and getting up at 10:00 a.m.- I slept late yesterday. It was wonderful!! But I have heard that working 3rd shift/ or being up late can cause you to have an increase in Cortisol. It's probably why I've had such a hard time losing weight and still having a hard time... I've tried everything to sleep and nothing works, I'm just a night owl I guess *LOL* Ok, it's 3:42 a.m. I'm off to bed & I'm getting up at 5:30 so I can get my coffee in and a shower and read some local news and CNN news and get my mom to the drivers licenses' center so she can reapply, we've paid her ticket and reinstatement fee but they only do what she needs done on Wednesdays and Fridays between 8:00 & 11:00... wish us luck!
( I love the pic of you and your daughter and also the one with yogurt in her hair! How cute is that?! )
Huh, I always drink more water when I exercise. I just get so thirsty I go through like 48 oz. in an hour. Just keep on drinking that water and you will get so used to it after a couple weeks that you will crave it.
