Measurements

Yesterday I was busy cleaning the house and I was thinking about my fitness and how much I've lost so far. Then I remember last year when I was doing the T-tapp, I measured my hips to be 42 inches last year. I saw my measurements sitting on the bookshelf and grab it to measure my hips again. I was surprised to see I lost 1 and a half inches on my hips which makes it to 40 1/2 inches. I'm really happy to see some lost on it because it's one of the biggest area I hate on my body. My scale is slow to lose,  but the measurements made my day and I felt better that my hips are smaller, even though I couldn't see it in the mirror. I could feel it in my clothes and see it with the measurement, but not the mirror. It feels great to see evidences of loss.

I'm off to the Y today and hope everyone have a great Wednesday!

Awesome!

You are proof that the scale is not the only measurement of our success.  That's awesome that you've lost inches in an area that you view as a problem.  That's why hubby said you looked sexy in the bathing suit!  :-)

Keep up the great work!

Excellent!

Congratulations on the new measurement - you're doing great!

ditch the scale

Forget the scale! Forget the numbers...Your tape measure tells all! Congrats on the lost inches!!!

YEAY!

Sometimes we forget that the scale is not the only measure of our success.  Yes...pun intended.

Way to go sister!

That is so great!  I know what you mean about not seeing it in the mirror or the scale.  Taking your measurements sure helps though.
