Not enough time

Have you ever noticed that there is never enough time to get everything done that you really want to do?

That's how I'm feeling right now.

My Husband is still under the wheather, so he and I decided to put off the work in the bath room until he is feeling better.  Forgot to mention that we have a Huge Wall Mirror that we need to take down before I can do the sanding in there.  I don't know if there is wall paper behind it.  Can't do that until Hubby feels stronger.

Dog is still sick too.  Had her to the Vet 2 weeks ago.  Had to reorder Med. since that visit and she is still not better.  Got to call the Vet again and see what the next step is.

Going to work out today.  Think I'm going to ride the bike, but I might change my mind and walk on the treadmill instead.  Not sure what I want to do at this moment.

Thank you everyone who left me such nice comments about the challenge.  I really appreciate all of you and all your nice comments made me feel so good!

Day 21 of the Challenge is Done!!!!!!!!!!

Yay, I did it !!!!  I did 21 days in a row of working out with out one day off!!!!!  Today was such a nice day I decided to pass the treadmill up and take a walk out side.  I don't usually take walks outside because the roads here are very narrow and I feel so unsafe without a shoulder  to walk on, but today I just had to go out and enjoy the wheather, and all the trees turning color!!!  I was out for a hour.  Just enjoyed walking, didn't press myself to do speed, or a certain amount of miles, or time.  It was a lovely way to end the challenge!!!

Ok next step for me is to go back to working out like I use to before this challenge.  I plan on using my Cardio Coach and working my self into the intense cardio range that I use to.  Every other day will be working out with wts.  Won't start a new Wt. training dvd until I up the wts. using the BL dvd that I have been working out with.  Going to do that maybe next week.  Tomorrow I will be taking the day off from formal working out.  That's not to say I won't be moving.  I plan on sanding down the walls in the bath room.  That's a very messy job, so I'll also have a big clean up when I'm done.  Don't know if I'll get it all done in one day, I'll see how it goes.  So I call that active exercise!!!  Once my part of the work is done, than I will start upping the wts!!!!

Got to go for now.  One of my dogs is sick and I have been cooking up chicken and rice to feed her.  The chicken is cool enough for me to debone it and mix it up with rice for her food for tonight. 

Hubby isn't feeling to good today either.  Feels like a flu/virus thing so I'll see how much work I really get done tomorrow

Day 20 of 21 Day Challenge!

It's day 20 for me!!!!  Yay, I almost there!!!  One more day to Go!!!

Today I rode my bike for 20 mins.  I didn't have a lot of time to spend on working out because I wanted to start taking down the wall paper in my bath room.  The wall paper came down easy for the most part!!!  There are some area's where the backing of the paper are still stuck to the walls, but I need to sand down all the walls anyway so the rest will come off then.

Glad to be done for today with both working out, and beginning the bath room work!!!

Oh yea, the walls all look fine, no worries about any mold or mildew!!!  So relieved about that.  Next step is sanding, than when that's done Hubby is going to paint the ceiling, and paint a primer on the walls. ( walls never had paint on them)  going to go to the store one day this week and order a new vanity, sinks, faucets, and counter top.  Don't know how long its going to take before they get put in.  Than we will finish painting.  Still got to pick out a color for that.  All I know is that the next few wks. are going to be busy!!

Well tomorrow is my last day for the challenge.  I have a very busy day at Church tomorrow because I have to Lay Read, Communion Asst., and stay to clean up.  So I plan on doing some walking on the treadmill for my last day. 

How are all of you doing?  Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful time of the year.  Temps are great for working out, either inside, or out!!!

Day 19 of the 21 Day Challenge!!!

Good Morning my Fellow EP Friends!!

Rise and shine to another glorious day!!

Day 19 is done for me.  Worked out with wts. this morning using as usuall my BL dvd.  Speaking of that, was going to up the wts. this week but I have decided to wait until my Bath room work is done.  I know that once the old wall paper is down, I am going to have the sand all the walls to get the old glue off, and make it smoooth enough to paint.  I don't know how long that wall paper has been in there, it was there when we bought the house. 

Had to put off the bath room for today.  Going to start the work tomorrow instead.  It will work out better for me to wait a extar day.  My Son won't be home this weekend so I don't have to work around him trying to get in that Bath. room, my Husband and I can use the one in my Bedrm.  So it will be easier for me if I don't have to get it done by a certain time so Chris can get in there!

Been thinking about all the work I have been doing in the last 21 days!!  I have more energy, I'm eating better, I'm sleeping better, I'm happier, I'm just feeling a better sense of Well Being.

Found something else out about my self.  I'm a cardio nut.  I have always known that about myself, but I never saw this part in me.  Since I started working out with wts. everyother day I am seeing a difference in my clothes, and also my body.  My pants are getting loose, my belly isn't as hard and round as it use to be. My fat is much looser.  These are all things that the wt. training is doing!!!   I have always chose to do Cardio over wt. training.  I love the endorphin high I get when I do Cardio.  I really don't feel that way when I do wts, but I now know that in order for me to reshape my body I need to do the wts. without a missed day, or replaced by Cardio like I use to.  Funny how you learn about your self.  Yes, I would cheat myself out of wt. training so I could do cardio

Part of me keeping up with the wts. is that I found the dvd to use.  The Biggest Loser really got me back into it!!  I love Bob, and I love how he teaches.  However, I can't get stuck there either.  So in a few weeks I'm going to start using the Slim 6 dvd that I have. I remember I used it once and was so sore I could hardly walk for a week.  Now I'm in much better shape and think it will be my next wt. dvd to use.

Also thinking about some kind of reward for myself for sticking to the 21 day challenge.  Can't afford to go out and buy anything, so I'm going to give myself a Pedicure as treat to my poor feet that have been getting me through this challenge.  They sure deserve it, and I'm looking forward to the treat!!!

Day 18

Today I rode my bike for 30 mins.  Put on CC#5 and had a great work out.  I think that CD will work good with my treadmill.  Don't have to adjust the hills, and speed as often as some of the others!!  Got to put it on my list of treadmill music!

Not feeling to good today.  I have a terrible headache.  Maybe its the change in weather.  Today its bright and sunny, and going into the 70's!!!  The tree's here are really looking pretty.  Such a pretty time of the year!!  One of my most favorites!!!

Tomorrow going to be busy taking down old wall paper in my main Bathroom.  I want to see how the walls look behind the paper before we go out and spend money on a new bath room vanity and sinks.  My house is a older house and when they built it they used things that I have never seen before, so I want to make sure they used the right kind of bathroom sheet rock.  I hope I don't see any green or we are going to have to replace walls and I really don't want to spend that much money, but if we have to we will.

So I don't know if I'll have time to post tomorrow, but plan on working out before I start the work.

Today for food

1 oatmeal - Breakfast

2. Soup with Peanut butter on a few crackers - Lunch

3. Hamburger on the grill. - Dinner

Did very well yesterday with the food plan Hope I continue to do that well today!

Day 17 and Day 5

OK today for me was scultping using the BL dvd.  I did my full work out, also my abs were worked using the dvd too.

When I get to day 21 I will be done counting for the challenge.  I also am going to stop counting the ab work outs. 

The 21 day challenge was meant to make working out a habit.  Which I have to say for me it did!!!  I now look at working out everyday like breathing.  I need to breath to stay alive, and I also need to workout doing something every day for good health, wt. loss, general well being!!!  So the 21 day challenge has given me that new outlook on life!!!

As far as the abs go, I don't think I'm going to work them out every day.  Today I was so weak and sore I couldn't get Bob's  workout done the way I was doing it last week.  I think for me every other day works better.  I still plan on working out every day but doing something different.  So as of today I am no longer working abs out every day.  I rather see improvement, and be able to do a good crunch, than working every day.

I hope you all understand and don't take it the wrong way.

Food for today will be

1. oatmeal - Breakfast

2. Yogurt, and Turkey slices - Lunch

3. Chicken (no skin) Vegs. and Potato- Dinner

That is my plan for food today, I just hope I'm a good girl and stick with the plan.

Day 16 for Challenge, & Day 4 for Ab Challenge

Boy oh Boy am I glad I have been writing all these days down, because if I didn't I would have lost track of time!!!

Almost done with the 21 day challenge.  I'll be happy when I don't have to keep counting days!!! 

Today for that challenge I did 20 mins. on my Bike. 

Building up on endurance using the bike. Not to worried about how fast or long I went today.  My leg muscles are still getting use to working out using the bike.  It's amazing to me how different exercises make your muscles feel!!!  Quads, and Hamstrings are being more used on the bike than when I walk on the treadmill!!!

My Ab work is also done.  I did 3 sets of 10 reps for each stomach work out.  I find its easier to keep count with the 10 reps.  Will add more sets as time goes on.  Also worked my lower back muscles today too.  I love working them, and feel like they are already getting stronger!!!

Trying to work on the food part, I'm never as good as I should be with that.  Working out is always much easier for me.

Today I had

oatmeal  Breakfast

cottage chesse  Lunch

Shrimp, Veg. and Potoato will be for dinner.

Trying to eat better than what I have been.  All the working out in the world won't help if I don't control what I put in my mouth.

I think my tummy area is starting to look less round, and hard. 

Sunday when I got dressed for Church I looked in the mirror when I had my Church clothes on and noticed that I looked alittle less bloated!!!!  That was such a surprise for me, and made me feel like all this hard work is starting to pay off!!!

So this is my story and I'm sticking to it!!! hehe.

Day 15 of 21 Day Challenge, Day 3 for Abs

Today is day 15 for me.  Wow, I can't believe that its almost over!  Today I did 20 mins. on the bike.  Trying to use the bike more now because I heard it burns more cals. than walking.  Just hope my back holds up and I will feel much better about using it more often

Today is also day 3 for my Ab challenge.  Doing all the core stuff I do with the BL DVD.  That way I work all core muscles! 

Very busy today here at home.  Had to have a new water holding tank put in for my well.  Thank God its done, we were really worrying that our pump for the well was going to burn out, and than we would be with out any water.  Now its done, no more pounding noise everytime we use the water.  Can do the wash, take a shower without worries!!!!

I'll have to catch up with everyone later on or tomorrow.  Just wanted to post because I didn't yesterday, but I did worked out.

Day 13 and Day 2

Ok my weight training is done for today  I worked out with Bob, and the Biggest Losers Dray, and Seth.  Had a awesome work out.

Also Day 2 for abs is done.

Did all the ab work on the dvd, plus back work to make my lower back stronger  It feels good to be all done!

Day 12 and Day 1 !!!

Today was day 12 for me and I rode my bike for 20 mins.

                            Started

Day 1 for Abs.  I did 25 Crunches, and 25 twists. (elbow to knee)

So it was a good day both with food, and exercise

We have been very busy taking out all the A/C's in the house.  Now they are all done

Also started up the Gas Fire Place and got it ready.  Had to use it for alittle while last night to take the chill off!

Cleaned my bedroom, and bath room.

So I had a very busy day, but a good one
