Got it done!
Today I got on my bike and worked out for 20 mins. I'm still not at my full speed, and had to push myself to finish the 20 mins. but I did!!! I guess it's going to take a couple of days to get back to where I was before I got sick, but at least I can do something now
Food is good so far for me today.
Breakfast Honey Bunches of Oats, with 2% milk, and coffee
Lunch - nothing because I ate breakfast very late today.
Dinner - Left over steaks, salad, and french fries (just a couple)
Snack to night - ice cream ( eat it every night, refuse to give that up)
So that is my food intake for today and I'm so glad that I got a work out in!

Is this possible?
After reading SMSE blog about the daily plate, I went over there to see how many cals. a day I need to eat. In order to lose 2 lbs. a week they said I should eat 2,082 a day!!!
I added up all the foods I ate today day, and it came out to 920 cals. It said I should eat 1,080 more cals!!! I can't believe that I'm under eating this much
!!! Is this really possible? Can it be that I'm not eating enough? Wow, I can't even believe this.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Got to just do it
Its 2:30 in the afternoon and I still haven't worked out yet. Still not feeling good, and today had some stomach problems. So I haven't done my work out yet. Hoping to ride the bike when Oprah is on if my stomach doesn't hurt then.
I took my scale out of hiding and got on it today. I wanted to see if I gained any wt. while being sick. Thank goodness I didn't. In fact i lost a pound!!! So now I'm down to 203.
Put the scale back away and out of sight.
So happy for the loss!!! Haven't been eating much so I guess that explains the one pound. I notice lately at dinner I'm eating a lot less than I use to
I find I get fuller much faster than I use to!!! I'm thrilled about this because dinner time has always been the place where I mess up. Just to much on the plate. Now I'm just putting half the amount on my plate and I am full !!!
Well wish me luck with getting my work out in today. I'm really going to try and do it. So sick of being sick. I had enough.

Getting Back into the Swing of Things
Well today I decided its time to get back into working out. Still not feeling good, but not sick enough to sit around when I should be working out.
Did cardio on my bike for 20 mins. Didn't push my self with anything just rode on a easy tension. My legs were burning and I really had enough, but it felt good to do something.
I'll be so glad when this head cold is gone. Was getting better but today the nasal drip, and cough started up again. I guess its this changing wheather too.
Watched the BL last night. I felt bad for the woman who got sent home. I really don't like anyone on Bob's team this year. She was the only one who I did like. So I'm rootin for the black team and hope that one of the younger girls wins. I really like the blonde one the best. I wish I could remember everyones names.
Food wasn't good today for me. I ate a turkey and swiss sandwich. with much to much mayo. on it.
Tonight Bill is grilling steaks, and I'm making a salad. So today isn't a good day as far as food goes. I'll work on being better tomorrow.
Well that's about it here, nothing else is really new. Hope you all are doing good with your foods and working out. Talk to you soon.

Mourning one of my Best Friends
Today is a very sad day in my life. My oldest dog Opie had to be put to sleep this morning. He was 14 yrs. old. Such a good dog. He came into our family 3yrs. ago at the age of 11. His first owners were old, and both had to go into Nursing Homes. We decided to take him in and make him one of our own. He was in the shelter for months. His sister was adopted because she was smaller, and pretty. No one wanted Opie because you see he only had one eye. His body was deformed, we think he must have gotten hit by a car or something when he was young. His tail couldn't go up like a Bichon's tail should go. When we brought him home he couldn't walk very good because his nails were so long. I never saw a dogs nails so long.
My other 3 dogs took to him in time and they really all became a pack. I'm so glad we were able to give him a good and loving life for his last few years.
I will miss his sweet kisses and funny looking face. My eyes will stop crying in time, but he will forever be in my Heart
I know he is in Heaven, yes I believe God loves all his creation and he is whole, happy and in Peace.

Feeling some what better
Just want to post to let you know that I'm feeling a little better. Not up to working out yet, but hoping in a day or two I will be getting back into it. My husband is still not feeling him self yet either. Looks like its going to take time for both of us. So when I do start working out again, going to start off easy, and not push myself to hard.
Hope everyone is doing good. Not to many people have been online this weekend. Must be enjoying their weekends and this lovely fall wheather!

Getting Better
Well I'm still under the wheather. I think I'm starting to feel better. Even thought that I might do some wt. training today, but changed my mind when I got all sweaty from feeling weak. I guess its better if I just give myself the extar days I need to recover, but its hard because I am so stoked about going down a size in my pants and I don't want to lose that motivation. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel stronger, I hope so.
Had to take my dog to the vet again yesterday. She's on different meds. now so I hope she will be back to normal again soon too. Another dog came down with the same thing so now he's on the same meds. as she is. So far the other 2 dogs are ok, and I just hope they don't get sick.
Hubby still isn't 100%. I think we have a viral thing. That could take a couple of wks. to get rid of. Last time I was sick it linger for more than 3 wks.
Hope it doesn't happen again.
Going to try and be good about my food while layed up. If I can't work out at least I can watch what I eat.
That shouldn't be so hard though because I'm really not that hungry.
Well at least the Sun is out today. The wheather is much colder too. Hope it kills all the germs. Going to air out the house for a little while to bring in some fresh air.
Leaves are falling like crazy here. Bath room still needs to be worked in and I'm starting to feel stressed. I don't like when things get a way from me. Those are going to be 2 big jobs, and I was hoping to get the bath room done before I have to deal with all the fall clean up. Thank God my Son mentioned something about bringing home a very powerful blower from work. He takes care of a golf course and has all the powerful tools to use. So I think I can relax alittle about the outside work. He really enjoys doing it, but I feel guilty if I'm not out there helping him. There will be plenty of more days ahead before all the leafs are all down anyway.
Well that's about it here. Don't know what else to say. So I'm going to sign off for now.

Not feeling good, but also good news!
Well I guess I'm coming down with what my Husband has. I'm not feeling good at all today. Nasal drip, sore throat, chills, tired. Won't be working out at all either. Hopefully this won't last long. Bill is feeling much better today, he was really feeling bad for only 2 days. So I hope the same for me.
Wanted to post because I also have good news to say. I bought a pair of Jeans sometime ago in the late spring early summer. When I bought them and tried them on I decided to keep them even though they were to tight in the hips and legs. (mail order) so I hung them in my closet and kept the tags on them. Yesterday I went in to get dressed and saw them. I said lets see if there is any improvement, don't really know cause I hid my scale away. Hate that thing.
Anyway, put them on and they not only fit, but are a little baggy on me to. I went down a whole pant size!!!! I still can't believe this happen
but as I sit here and type I'm wearing them
. So I'm seeing much improvement, and I think its all because of keeping up with my cardio, and doing the BL workout, not to mention working out for the last 21 days!!!
WooHoo I haven't seen this much progress in such a long, long time!!!
Had to tell you all cause I'm so excited, and happy, but most of all a great sense of relief because I haven't seen much change since I started here at EP. Granted I put on wt. when I tried to quit smoking so that didn't help, than it took months to lose that extra wt. which I did. Still have a long way to go, but at lest now I have some hope!

I was a Lion today!!
My workout is done!!! I had a Great Heart Pounding Cardio Coach work out on the treadmill
Used CC # 5 and worked in orange zone for the first challenge. Sean was getting us ready for challenge 2 and he said stay in Orange zone but if you are advanced then hang loose in Red Zone. So I said I want to hang loose and did the entire 2 challenge in Red Zone. Challenge 3 came up and I said lets go for it. Did challenge 3 also in Red Zone! 
During our work out Sean asked if you are a Gazelle or a Lion? A Gazelle runs fast to stay alive and get away from the Lion. The Lion is fast and powerful and has to eat. So today I was the Lion , fast, and powerful and King of the Jungle!!!
Awesome work out, Awesome feeling to know that I am strong!!! and able!!!
