Wts. today
Today I worked out because I already had my 2 days off.
I did my weight work out today. Something keeps nagging at the back of my mind. I read what Jillian said about working out. She said its better to do wts. 4 times a week and then do cardio. I have been trying to come up with a plan to do it that way but when it comes to finding different things to do I get stumped. I thought you couldn't work out with weights everyday. Doesn't the body need to rest? Does that mean when you lifting heavy wts, which I'm not. The heaviest I lift is 10 lbs. Can I do the same work out everyday? I'm thinking I might give it a try. Never done that before. Seems like I've been going around in circles for so long, maybe it's worth a try.
Does anyone have any ideas? Please let me know what you think.

Work Out Done
Today is a day for change! That's the end song on CC#5. I love that song. Sometimes I want to finish the work out just so I can hear that song!
Well I did a total of 55 mins. on the bike. That is with warm up and cool down in it. I rode for 9.04 miles, and burned 813.9 cals. Best of all I felt strong even through all the challenges. In fact the very last challenge I went over the speed I was maintaining for the challenges!!! Today was a Super good work out, and boy did I need it after all the Thanksgiving foods!
Need to go take a shower and get somethings done. I'll look in on you all later today.

The Day After
Well I had a nice Thanksgiving. My stuffing and gravey was awesome!! What is it about eating turkey that makes me soooo tired. I had intentions of walking on the treadmill while the turkey was in the oven. It didn't happen. My phone started ringing with family and friends calling to wish us a Happy Thanksgiving. I didn't mind, much rather talk on the phone to all of them anyday!
Today much of the same. Didn't work out at all. I was very lazy. Made a turkey sandwich for lunch and right after that I had to lay down and take a nap
Tonight we had left overs from yesterday, and I'm really getting tired again. I had enough of this food for the year. I'm not use to eating such heavy, and rich food, so I'm really feeling it.

I'm hoping to get back on track tomorrow. I need to go out to the mall to.

I know its going to be packed, but I hope to hand out some Mary Kay books to people while they are shopping so I have to go. Its the only way I'm going to get any customers. I just need to be bold and approch them.

Its not a easy thing to do when your kind of shy. What's the worst that can happen, right!
Well that's it here. Hubby had to go to the Doc. today because he got worse yesterday. He's now on meds. for a Sinus infection. Hope I don't get it.

Walked
Well I walked on my treadmill today for 40 mins. Really enjoyed the feeling it gave me. I could feel all the stress leaving my body!!! I love what working out does for my whole being, its not always for wt. lose!!
Looking forward to the BL tonight! I saw Coleen on Good Morning with Julian this morning. She looked good, but not much of a big difference since we saw her last week. She said she is wearing a size 10. It amazes me that these women claim to be wearing such small sizes but don't look like a size 10! Maybe they mean in dress size? As good as she looks right now, I can't believe a size 10 is that big. Maybe its me, I don't know. Any way she's doing good, and said her father is also doing really good! So I'm happy for them both!
Got to get off this computer and get some things done around the house.

Good work out!
Well today I had a really good work out. I used my weights and had a total body work out with them. When I got done with that I rode my stationary bike for 20 mins! It was a good work out and I'm feeling happy that I did it. Just need to make sure I do something everyday.
Thank you Lori for asking me about Vitamins. Yes, I do take them every day, plus I also take Vit.C every day too! Its just the time of the year, plus like I said I tend to wear myself down by over working my work outs. I really need to rest 2 days a week so I don't get worn out. Some people can work out for 6 days and be fine, but I found that's not good for me. So for now on its 2 days rest!!!
Right now my Hubby is sick with some kind of flu, or virsus thing. I just hope I don't come down with it. He even had a Flu shot, so I don't think its the flu, but you never know what you can get when your out in the stores and around people. Last week my Son was sick with a cold, so who knows? Just hope I stay healthy and not come down with what they have or had.

Day Off
I took today off from any exercise. I try and keep my Sundays free from working out.
Need to get back into a really sound routine. I was looking at my arms yesterday and said to myself, Man you really need to tone them, and get rid of all that extra flap. My arms have never in my life looked this bad. I always prided my self on having at least toned arms. Forget about the waist and hips. It only goes down hill from there.
Really need to get with the program this week. I don't care if it is Thanksgiving or not, no need to pig out one day. Going to enjoy my cooking, but will also watch my portions!!!
I feel like a yoyo.
Seems like everytime I get into a good routine and work habit, I get sick. Sickness always messes me up, and I'm really tired of that. Going to make sure I work out smart, but also rest when I need it so I don't get run down. With the hoildays coming its going to be even more important to be rested, but also keep up with a sound work out routine.
Well that's how I feel today. Need to really kick it into gear, and also make sure I don't over do things like I tend to. That way I don't get worn out.

A busy day
I have a very busy day in store for me. So I wanted to get my work out done and out of the way. Today I did the Biggest Loser power and sculpt. I might jump on my bike or treadmill later if I have some extra time.

Roarrrrrr!!!!!!!!
Yes!!!! Today I was that strong Lion in the jungle!!!! Right now I'm licking my chops!!!
Put in CC#5, and worked out for a total of 55 mins!!!! Used my treadmill today. I really like CC#5 for the treadmill. I was able to do all the challenges and I feel so good
While on the treadmill I started thinking about Goals for myself. There are a few things that I'm not happy with and here is my list of what I want to improve in.
1. due to being sick, I haven't been able to work out everyday with 1 or 2 days off. So now that I feel better my goal is to do something everyday for at least 30 mins.
2. doing the sprints on CC is very hard for me to do. I do one sprint to get my heart rate up. The sprint on CC 5 is for 1 min. Besides huffing and puffing it truly hurts my ankles, and I can feel All the junk in my Trunk bouncing up and down, and it is a very unpleasant thing to fee. So another goal of mine is to lose the extra body wt. and be able to do all the sprints. Right now I'm Power Walking and happy that I can do that, but I don't want to stay there either.
3. I know I have a inner strenght in me. Just by doing all the work outs that I do brings that Good part of me out. Now I want to apply that to my everyday life. Meaning, I'm a shy person, its hard for me to make friends. People here seem to like me, so I guess I'm a nice person, now I need to put that Strong, Friendly Person outside of this safety net. I want to be more open and out going with people I meet and learn how to make small talk. That's something that has been very hard for me to do, but that is my next personal goal.
I can list a few other things, but I'm not going to just yet. I don't want to put extra pressure on myself and these are the things that I'm going to start with.
Today is a new day. That's the ending song on CC5. I truly feel like its a New Day for me too!!!
Well now I'm off to start that vac. that I never got done yesterday. After that I need to put some thought time into my Mary Kay business. So I will be back later to check on you all.
