Another work out in.

Well I tried and do the 20 min bike ride today like Bill said.  I have to tell you I didn't hit any high points there.  Not sure if I'm going to be able to do it his way.  Going to keep trying for a few days and see.  If I can't get into it, I'm just doing CC.  It's hard for a cardio nut to give up cardio.  I think Bill just likes doing wts. most guys do.  Us women are the ones always running our little hineys off on the machines.

Not worried about the work out anymore.  No matter what I do as long as I do the wts. and watch the food, my fat should melt off my body.  I do like his idea with the wt. part.  Never did wts. like that before.  Its always been the same amount of wt. with 3 sets of 12-15 reps, so I'm looking forward to his wt. program.  Food is going to be ok too.  Don't know if I can get 6 meals in a day, but going to do the best that I can.
 
Been very busy around the house today.  I'm tired now, and going to go sit and read some more BFL.
 
Oh yea, I still can't believe Vicky is still on the show.  She should have sent the man home last night if she was such a game player!  That wasn't a smart thing for her to do, because if she falls behing the yellow line next week and someone else from her team does to, who do you think is going to go home?  Not only is she evil, she's not smart!
 
OK, sorry for my rant, but I have never disliked anyone from that show before as much as I dislike her.

Walked today

I walked for 40 mins today on my treadmill. 

Been thinking how I'm going to work my cardio when I start doing the Body for Life program.  Bill says to do cardio only  20 mins., but a very intense 20 mins.  I'm not sure I'm doing cardio that way.  I really love doing the CC interval work outs for cardio, and I think I'm going to stick with that.

I'll do all Bill's wt. training stuff, and try and follow the meal plan as best as I can, but I'm not giving up my Cardio Coach!  Between the two programs I should be in good hands

I was out a lot today, and I'll have more time tomorrow to catch up with everyone.  I'm really tired now, so I think I'm going to call it a night here at EP.

Don't forget the Biggest Loser is on tonight.  I really hope Vicky gets the boot tonight.  See ya tomorrow.

Thanks to GCQMom for listing the web site!  Now I really want to take this wt. off.  I see most improvments in my hips, and tummy area.  Face, and arms look the same.  I didn't want to put it on the after and have people think I lost all that weight yet, so its in my album to look at so I can get motivation from it!

Need a New Plan

OK, I had enough going in circles.  I'm putting myself on a New Plan this week.  I dug out my Body for Life books, and am going to sit down and read them this week. I'm tired of wasting my time.  I need something that is going to make me see results, and I believe the Body for Life is it.

My Son showed me how to use his wt. bench this morning.  Now I'll have a really good bench to work on!  Plus he has all the heavy wts. I'll need in the future.

Need time to read the book, going to skip through all the stories and just focuse on the work out plan.  Haven't read the book in a long time so I want to make sure I know what I need to do.  Not to mention I need to dust off the bench and put together the wts. that I will need to start off with.

Also need to get the food part together.  Lucky for me I have been eating most of the foods, but I want to read all that again too.

So I'm hoping by the end of the week I will be able to start the whole program.  Not sure if I want to go with only one day of rest.  I really like the 2 days off because I think its better for me.  I guess I'll see how I can work that into the program.

In the mean time I plan on doing my cardio until I am able to begin this program.

So that's my plan for the week.  It feels really good to have a Plan.

 

Wts. today

Today I worked out because I already had my 2 days off.

I did my weight work out today.  Something keeps nagging at the back of my mind.  I read what Jillian said about working out.  She said its better to do wts. 4 times a week and then do cardio.  I have been trying to come up with a plan to do it that way but when it comes to finding different things to do I get stumped.  I thought you couldn't work out with weights everyday.  Doesn't the body need to rest?  Does that mean when you lifting heavy wts, which I'm not.  The heaviest I lift is 10 lbs.  Can I do the same work out everyday?  I'm thinking I might give it a try.  Never done that before.  Seems like I've been going around in circles for so long, maybe it's worth a try.

Does anyone have any ideas?  Please let me know what you think. 

Work Out Done

Today is a day for change!  That's the end song on CC#5.  I love that song.  Sometimes I want to finish the work out just so I can hear that song!

Well I did a total of 55 mins. on the bike.  That is with warm up and cool down in it.  I rode for 9.04 miles, and burned 813.9 cals.  Best of all I felt strong even through all the challenges.  In fact the very last challenge I went over the speed I was maintaining for the challenges!!!  Today was a Super good work out, and boy did I need it after all the Thanksgiving foods!

Need to go take a shower and get somethings done.  I'll look in on you all later today.

The Day After

Well I had a nice Thanksgiving.  My stuffing and gravey was awesome!!  What is it about eating turkey that makes me soooo tired.  I had intentions of walking on the treadmill while the turkey was in the oven.  It didn't happen.  My phone started ringing with  family and friends calling to wish us a Happy Thanksgiving.  I didn't mind, much rather talk on the phone to all of them anyday!

Today much of the same.  Didn't work out at all.  I was very lazy.  Made a turkey sandwich for lunch and right after that I had to lay down and take a nap

Tonight we had left overs from yesterday, and I'm really getting tired again.  I had enough of this food for the year.  I'm not use to eating such heavy, and rich food, so I'm really feeling it.
 
I'm hoping to get back on track tomorrow.  I need to go out to the mall to.  I know its going to be packed, but I hope to hand out some Mary Kay books to people while they are shopping so I have to go.  Its the only way I'm going to get any customers.  I just need to be bold and approch them.  Its not a easy thing to do when your kind of shy.  What's the worst that can happen, right!
 
Well that's it here.  Hubby had to go to the Doc. today because he got worse yesterday.  He's now on meds. for a Sinus infection.  Hope I don't get it.

Happy Thanksgiving

I just want to wish Everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  Not sure if I will be online tomorrow.  Enjoy your day, and don't over do things!!!!

Walked

Well I walked on my treadmill today for 40 mins.  Really enjoyed the feeling it gave me.  I could feel all the stress leaving my body!!!  I love what working out does for my whole being, its not always for wt. lose!!

Looking forward to the BL tonight!  I saw Coleen on Good Morning with Julian this morning.  She looked good, but not much of a big difference since we saw her last week.  She said she is wearing a size 10.  It amazes me that these women claim to be wearing such small sizes but don't look like a size 10!  Maybe they mean in dress size?  As good as she looks right now, I can't believe a size 10 is that big.  Maybe its me, I don't know.  Any way she's doing good, and said her father is also doing really good!  So I'm happy for them both!

Got to get off this computer and get some things done around the house.

Good work out!

Well today I had a really good work out.  I used my weights and had a total body work out with them. When I got done with that I rode my stationary bike for 20 mins!  It was a good work out and I'm feeling happy that I did it.  Just need to make sure I do something everyday.

Thank you Lori for asking me about Vitamins.  Yes, I do take them every day, plus I also take Vit.C every day too!  Its just the time of the year, plus like I said I tend to wear myself down by over working my work outs. I really need to rest 2 days a week so I don't get worn out.  Some people can work out for 6 days and be fine, but I found that's not good for me.  So for now on its 2 days rest!!!

Right now my Hubby is sick with some kind of flu, or virsus thing.  I just hope I don't come down with it.  He even had a Flu shot, so I don't think its the flu, but you never know what you can get when your out in the stores and around people.  Last week my Son was sick with a cold, so who knows?  Just hope I stay healthy and not come down with what they have or had.
