I am NOT a morning person! Again, I failed to get up at 5:30 this morning and had to work out at lunch and eeew I was all hot and sweaty for the rest of the afternoon. So far my eating has been right on! Today I'm looking forward to having a delicious shrimp cocktail dinner with my Hubby - I can't wait!!
Today started out kind of hard. I tried to get up at 5:30 again but no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't do it. I went back to sleep and dreamt about hitting the snooze button until it actually went off at 7AM. Boo. So I had to do 1/2 my workout at lunch and the other half after work - and I did it! This was a hard routine with super high reps and wow am I gonna feel it tomorrow! I did well on the eating front as well, AND I've been drinking plenty of water. I am SUPER proud of myself!! YAY! I'm going to go to bed early tonight and hopefully I'll be able to get up a lot easier tomorrow morning.
I worked out 6AM today, I did the Turbo Jam Punch, Kick, and Jam Vid for approximately 50 mins. Since I got up at 5:30AM I was actually able to have breakfast with my husband this morning and then I was able to workout and take a shower and barely made it to work on time. I think this is going to work out great! I am feeling a little tired though.
So far my eating has been great today. No snackin on little bits here and there - I totally stuck to my eating schedule, though I have to admit that I was feeling pretty hungry for most of the day and not just run off the mill hungry I'm talking SERIOUS HUNGER PANGS!! l guess I'll have to adjust my meals and include more protein. Sadly I messed up in the end yesterday. I had 2 glasses of red wine before bed, but they were sooo yummy! I guess it's not terrible, just wasn't in the plan.
Alright! I actually woke up at 5:30 and worked out usually I'm pretty lazy and go right back to bed but I am determined to keep this schedule up! It's only 12:17pm and I'm feeling pretty good. Work was super hectic like I knew it would be but that's ok - I'm on top of everything!! Now let's see about following up with good eating for the rest of the day.
I took 2 whole weeks off and gained 5 lbs. I'm not worried though. On Monday I'm starting a new routine and have new goals. I just bought a really neat excercise diary and can't wait to start using it. Anyhow one of my new goals is to lose 20 lbs of fat in 20 weeks. I'm going to really pay attention to my eating and get back into my workouts. These 2 weeks have been great though - nothing but lazing around. I really needed it too! Work is super stressful and my workouts were getting too intense. I'll have to backtrack a little but that's ok. I totally deserved this time off! Still, I'm excited about my new workouts and eating plan - can't wait to get started! Check out this cool vid - this guy is kinda silly but his advice and website have been super helpful in tweaking my workout routine and diet.
Apparently it's been a really long time since I last posted. I am happy to note that I have actually maintained my weight and even lost a little since my last post. Hmm...I'm actually a lot more toned and have a better workout and nutrition routine going. I'm eating 4-6 small meals a day and I am alternating weight lifting with cardio. For the first time in my life I can jog for 2 whole miles nonstop! I am actually breezing through my once impossibly tough weight lift vid - "Get Ripped 1000" by Jari Love. LOL. I love that title! My next goal is to look great in a bikini. I can start to see my abs - a jiggly four pack - I want to see a jiggle free six pack by this summer. I'm planning a 7 day trip to the carribean somewhere. Maybe the Dominican Republic, we'll see. New projects: attaining total control in my ab isolations and doing at least 5 unassisted pull ups. Oh, and my hubby and I will be starting a Chinese Class at our local city college starting Jan 12th. Yay!! Let's see how belly dancing, chinese, and total body workouts turn out! Yay! I've tried not to think too much about my upcoming trip because that always seems to make the wait sooooo much longer. But gosh!! It's gonna be here next week!! I haven't even begun to think about what I'm packing or even which luggage I'm gonna take or what hotels I'm going to stay at after the first few days! I am so EXCITED!! Yay Yay Yay! Maybe I can stop focusing on my eating and working out ... nah ... still gonna keep working out and still gonna keep checking my food intake - too much of a good habit to let go. Today I tried a bikini on at the Old Navy by my house and I actually didn't gag! I still need a lot of work but MAN! Do I look tons better or what!!
I've been eating a whole lot these past few days. I had to mentally push myself through each workout - I was exhausted- then I ruined all that hard effort by eating like a pig. Guess we just like to punish myself. On a happier note - I've actually been getting a lot of compliments lately and my new size 10's feel "big".
It's really hot today. It was hot yesterday too. I am sweating in my corset - eew. My husband doesn't seem to mind too much. I am very slowly dropping weight. I gotta keep focusing on my goal - I wont reach it in time again - I will reach it at some point though. I wont to the Doc and was dreading the scale (they never match what is on mine at home - never in a good way) but happily it was the same as at home!! YAY! It means 2 things - my scale is accurate and I can trust it - I am still losing weight. I am down to 20 points for WW but it's not that bad ( I was previously allowed 24) I haven't been too hungry and it forces me to make healthier choices (healthy stuff tends to be lower points). Well - I'm off to Target, I accidentally dropped the toothpaste in the toilet today and I have some prescriptions to fill.
Finally! A budge! Let's see how long this one lasts. Today my mother gave me a beautiful corset. It is awesome and is the REAL thing!! It even has space so that your boobs dont get squished. I'm going to start waist training again - maybe starting next week - I'll start out wearing it maybe an hour a day and move up longer as I can tolerate it more. I am sooo excited! I know it sounds lame and old fashioned but it truly does work! I'll post a pic later.
