Before After

What? Two posts in One day? It can't be!

My Mom met her oncologist today and she got some very good news. She's only in stage 2 cancer and that's not bad at all, in fact most people find out they have cancer in stage 2. So she'll be doing 6 months of chemo and then after that she's going to do radiation. She is going to be ok. I just got home and I wanted to let you all know it's not as bad as we thought it was.

I feel so much better and so does she!

I'll write again soon.

Whew

Praise God!  I bet that's a load off!  Look at you and all that walking!!  Keep up the great work!!

(( Hugs and prayers )) - one day at a time, that's all you need to worry about!!

Wow!

7 miles in one night?? That sure is a lot of walking. Maybe I should get a job like yours and I'll be thin by tomorrow! LOL!

I'm so glad to hear your mom is doing much better. I know how stressful it can be when someone is sick with cancer. My father had Hogkin's disease for 4 1/2 years til he finally passed on. People today have a much better chance from recovering from cancer than back then. In 1990, doctors were just researching good medicines for cancer. My dad was part of the research and I always thought he has helped many people today to recover from cancer for being part of that research. I'm hoping and praying for your mom for more good news for her. I understand that you will be very busy helping her out since chemo therapy is very hard to go through. I'll still be here when you come back.

That's great you got some nice compliments from your boss and employees. We need more nurses like you who worried about cleaning and making sure everything is sterile as well.

That's good news!

I'm so glad that your mom got a positive diagnosis.  I bet that's such a relief for all of you.

I apologize for dropping off the face of the earth lately.  Who knew going to school would take up so much of my time. :)

Long time no see...

So sorry to hear about your Mom, so glad to hear the prognosis is good.  Don't forget to take good care of you, so that you can take care of others. (((((hug)))))

How are you doing?

It's been a little while and I'm just checking in.  I know you have a lot of on your plate, but just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.
