The Anti-Estrogenic Diet

I was flipping through a magazine and I found the story of Anna, a young lady who had lost 102 lbs in 4 months... I was like OMG! is that even possible? and if so... is it healthy?
The article was about the Anti-Estrogenic Diet and I must admit that I have never heard about it. I am thinking of buying the book... but I am going to try the phase one for two weeks that appears in the magazine... if I see progress, I'll get the book.

If anyone has tried it, or knows more about this diet... please let me know.

Thanks

Interesting

I copied the link and will go look at the information, but you'll have to keep us posted as you learn and proceed.

don't bother! (only my opinion)

one of my husband's co-workers is obsessed with this diet, the basic premise is that all foods either increase or suppress oestrogen levels in the body.

When you read the diet, it is just a basic low-calorie diet, the author has written several other diet books with questionable advice (e.g. the warrior diet, eat one meal a day) and seems obsessed with making cash, as many nutrition writers do, by making a new gimmick explanation for basically sound or less sound weight watching advice.

My OH's friend hasn't lost any more weight on this one than he did on the warrior diet, and has cut out some important food categories.

Also, losing that much in 4 months would be not only unlikely with this diet, but also dangerous.

That is only my opinion obviously.
