Miracle Mile for Kids
Last weekend, my stepdaughter and I walked the Miracle Mile for Kids, in Morro Bay. It is a 10k benefiting foster kids in the area, so we couldn't miss it!
It was a glorious day, and walking 6.2 miles on the beach while chatting makes the time/miles fly by. We didn't set a land speed record, by any means, but it was fun, a healthy walk for us, and a good cause.
Next year, though - I will be running it! I can run up to 4 miles now, but didn't want my step daughter to feel left out. Next year, I will run the entire distance!
