WOW! 14 pounds since I joined!!!

I can't believe it. I've lost 14lbs since I've joined. I'm so excited. I weighed myself for the first time since March 19th. At that time I was 231lbs now I'm down to 217lbs. I wish my husband could be here to see this. Please say a prayer for him as he is doing his job defending this country. I made myself a promise, I will lose weight before he comes back home. I will fit into this bikini I've been eyeing. I even have a workout partner. We made a workout schedule that works around our class schedule and my sister's school schedule. I'm so excited, I can't stop smiling. God has been good to me in keeping me motivated with this. Thank you all for the support and thank you for the support you show the soldiers and for the prayers for my husband.

Going Strong

So far so good. I've hit the gym twice this week for about 30 min. I split my time up though. 15 min of cardio and 15 of weight training. My plan is to increase to 1 day and 10 min a week until I'm able to workout for an 1hr 1/2 4 days a week. Until then, I have to break it all down. Today is my third day for the gym. I woke up at 4:30 am because my husband's dog had an accident on the floor and I never went back to sleep. I will go to the gym though, I just have no clue what time, but I will go. I wish I could get into good eating habits. Dinner was okay. I made bake pork chops (with shake n bake) I have green giant veggies (broccoli w/ cheese sauce and potatos with garlic sauce) buttermilk biscuit and of course dr. pepper. Giving up soda is soooooooo hard. It's almost as hard as quitting smoking. One step at a time. If I take baby steps I will succeed. That's my thought and my motto for today. I'll have to think of one for next week. Wish me luck ladies and I battle off these first 15 lbs.

Third Time Around

This is the second time I've made a blog on here and the third time I've tried to loose weight. This time, I have no choice however. If I cannot get my weight under 200 before January, the hospital will cancel our IVF cycle. My main reason this time is my sister lives with me. She's 11, 153lbs and 5'7. She has a very sedentary life. I don't want her to end up with PCOS or if she has it, I want her to be able to control it through healthly eating and exercise.

I made a promise to myself, I see my endocrinologist on Apr. 2, that is exactly 3 weeks from now, which I hope to at least be 2-3lbs lighter by then.

My exercise goal for this week is a 15 min walk, per dog per day. I have three dogs. My day with start with an AM yoga workout. I know this will help me stretch out the kinks and aches I have. Wish me luck, keep me motivated.

When my husband returns home (he's active duty army) I want him to ask me, who are you and what have you done with me wife. lol I want him to be proud of me for getting healthly and fit.
