I woke up at 5 am and went to the gym to do a boot camp class even though I wasn't feeling well. I had been to boot camp classes at other gyms before and they were very similar to tae bo and not very hard. But this was... BOOT CAMP. It was soo difficult and I wanted to quit. But I did it and I feel great. I'm going back tmrw.
So as of Sat 08/19/2006, I am down 21.5 lbs. I hit my 10%!!! I'm so excited and I have that extra boost now to keep going strong. My next goal is to be 175 by Labor Day which is in 2 weeks. That's just 3 lbs lighter so if I work hard, it's definitely do-able!
Hello Hello! Well, I don't have much news to update. I am down 18 lbs total as of Saturday. I had a perfect on program weekend (which I haven't had in a little bit) and I still have FPs left for the week. I am starting at a gym this week and I will plan a total of 6 days working out. I really enjoy taking classes so once I figure out the schedule that I will be following, I'll post it here. Will update soon!
Long time, no write! I have been going strong with Core! I overindulged this past weekend at our convention but I was with family so I tend to do that. I really have to work on that particular area because I feel so much better when I eat right. I have lost 8.6 lbs thus far on Core and a total of 11.9 since I started trying to lose weight. I already feel better. I have been experiencing with different recipes and my husband is loving it. He really is enjoying the different foods.
Saturday was the end of my first week on Core. I am loving it so much. I lost 3.6 lbs this week. I haven't eaten any junk food whatsoever. No icecream or chips or candy or any sugar!! Yeah for me. 6.4 lbs to go till my next goal.
My first goal is a loss of 10 lbs (186.2). I would like to ... scratch that... WILL LOSE by July 7th (for my convention). That gives me exactly a month. I ordered Turbo Jam today and it should arrive in 5-7 days so hopefully that will give me the extra push!
I've decided to break my weigh-loss into mini-goals so that I don't have to look at the whole amount that I need to lose. I'm also going to reward myself along the way. Here are the rewards...
10 lbs (189.5) - workout clothes
20 lbs (179.5) (10%) - gym membership
30 lbs (169.5) - new running shoes
35 lbs (164.5) - facial
40 lbs (159.5) - iPod
45 lbs (154.5) - massage
Goal (142) - New car!!
I guess it would be normal to tell my story at the beginning. But this is by no means the beginning of my journey. I have been struggling with my weight for as long as I remember. I remember lying about my weight in elementary school! I was not over weight at all, I was just about a foot taller than everyone else so I weighed more! I've always been self-conscious about that.
I was never really overweight until about 7th grade. From then until I graduated highschool, I weighed about 155-160. I gained 10 lbs in the next year. I started weight watchers and was losing until I got an engaged at 18. I was married at 19 (175 lbs) and I'm now 20 (197 lbs). I have tried weight watchers (again) and south beach diet.
I'm back to weight watchers for the 3rd and final time. I need this blog for accountability. I've been at it for about a month now (on my own) and have gained and lost the same 5 lbs. So, I'm starting meetings again on Saturday and I'm making this my last time. I'm tired of struggling...
