Here we go....
Okay, I really feel like I have been on every diet out there! I have been the most successful with the Low Carb lifestyle, however in the last few years this has not worked out for me. When I have been able to stick with it for an extended period of time, it is not nearly effective as it has been in the past. Here is my story...
In the spring of 1999 I weighed 258 lbs.... I started walking and just eating a bit better and when I moved to KY in the fall of 1999, I was around 230. After moving down here I didn't really have a social life and I wanted to really start over after a 5 year relationship so I worked out real hard and cut down to very few calories a day and got down to a comfortable 185. I was in a size 12 and at 6'0'' I was happy with that (although at the time, I thought I was not where I wanted to be). I met my now husband who is a tall drink of water and I was happy at that weight till about the beginning of 2002. I got engaged and realized I had creeped back up to 215. But I did a strict Low Carb and got back down to about 180...wore my size 12 wedding dress. Well, now after five years and several yo-yo diet attempts dropping down 20 pounds, then gaining 40... over and over and over again.. I have now ballooned up to somewhere around 240-250, I can't make myself get on the scale. I am examining my options... I need something drastic. I have tried the celebrity fit club fat-smash diet and was successful while I lasted on it. I am looking at the ultrasimple weight loss... I know it is not going to be quick and it is going to take work NO MATTER WHAT I DO!! So anyway, this looks like a website that will help me along my journey.
Off to do some more investigating on diet options!
