I just wanted to stop and say congratulations on losing 100 pounds....that is a HUGE accomplishment...how did you do it...I am struggling to keep trying and I find somedays I just want to quit...I am not giving up though..I am trying to keep on truckin...I just want to make it under 200 then I will feel like I accomplished something...congrats...and you did wonderful...how long did it take you???? I forgot to ask....

Hitting 91 pounds meant the 100 pound mark was so close I could taste it. Then came the holidays and I went back up some, but now I'm on my way back down again. I've been longing to hit the 100 pound mark, and even when I do I'll have a ways to go. You have stuck to your journey and it seems without any plateaus! Did you ever experience any? Cuz girl you are smokin' you just keep moving along toward goal. CONGRATS!

Thanks for the compliments, too, but I am in fact carrying much more weight on my small frame (even though I'm tall). I'm not looking to be thin. Just fit. And trust me, I'm carrying a seriously high percentage of body fat on me (most on my butt, hips and thighs that I for some reason didn't feature adequately in those pictures). To prove it, I'd send you a picture of myself naked, but you'd go blind, I'd get arrested and nobody would win. LOL
Regarding my comment on EP flexibility (or lack thereof), I was just telling another EPer that it's a shame that we have to use other sites in addition to EP to blog. Several EPers are now using other blog sites in order to post photos, additional information, etc. I wish it could all be done on one site. Since the EP update, I'm no longer getting email notifications and I'm kind of disappointed. I just assumed that updates meant more functionality (flexibility) for EP members' blogs. But there are still so many restrictions. I just wish they would've asked us what features we'd like to see before they made the changes. They updated the site and now people are speaking up and EP is saying, "We'll consider all of that in the future." *sigh*

It is stories like yours that keep me going. I am new to the site (a month maybe) and would love to read a blog recap of how you did it (basically) and how long it took. It is even more inspirational to me because you are in IA (I am in MN) and start weight is close to what I am now (and I have lost 25). Thank you again.
