What body shape am I? (comments appreciated)

Lately, I've been worrying over my body shape, so I need your help. There are so many... reverse triangle, apple, ruler, cone, cornet...This is the site I saw...

Well, I can't get a good guess without judging myself, what do you think my shape is? I know this isn't a forum, but I've gotten some comments, so I'm hoping to get some comments...

I think it's time to post - 20 days 'til my cruise!

Hi everybody! It's been a while since I've actually written anything in this blog. Well, I'm on my countdown to get to 145lbs before July 10th, which is the day of my 4 day cruise. It's not very long, but looking back at the past cruise pictures, I need new pics to replace those fat 200lb-me pics. I pick 145 lbs, a high goal, for two reasons. One: If I don't make it to 145lbs, I still hit my 2nd goal of being at the low 150's and Two: Since my 2nd goal was low 150's. on the cruise I can "splurge" and have 5 pounds to "play" with. I hope I get to 145lbs. There's a lot of yummy food onboard I want to try without feeling guilty. Although last time I did get to try a lot of yummy foods that were diet-friendly.

I've changed my diet to help with my goal. I've reduced my carb intake. I eat carbs early in the morning and at night.

Breakfast: 16 oz. Reduced Sugar Fruit Loops w/ Skim Milk

Snack 1: A medium banana & Activia Vanilla yogurt

Lunch: Salad with spray-on dressing and 1 tbsp of Bacon-O's

Snack 2: A mixed fruit cup and a mozzerella cheese stick

Dinner: Lean Cuisine French Bread Pizza (gotta have my pizza fix while everybody around is eating the "good" stuff... trick my brain...LOL)

Snack 3: Healthy Choice Fudge Bar

 

The salad is for before cruise... I usually eat a Lean Cuisine meal under 300 calories. I've been really good at eating a salad for lunch...even on the weekends, which is a miracle.

I'm at 159lbs... 14lbs away from my cruise goal. Wish me luck!!

I posted this about a year ago. My nurse's mistake was my epiphany. I went to the gyno's yesterday and when they weighed me, I weighed 162lbs. Same time last year?? 221 lbs. So...

2006 - 231 lbs

2007 - 221 lbs

2008 - 162 lbs!!

 

Such a great feeling!!

 

Oh, And I went from wishing to be a size 13/14 to a 10 wishing to be an 8!!

 

I just wish they would've messed up on the scale again to have a goal for next year!

 

Skinnier fingers!

Yesterday, I came to a realization. My fingers lost weight...

My boyfriend is going to get me a ring for Valentine's Day (I figured it out with his questions and he confessed) and I had to size my ring finger. Now, I used to be able to wear the ring I got my boyfriend at the Renfair 2 years ago and that's a size 10. The ring now is big for even my boyfriend to wear (He's a 9 now)...so you can imagine! Well, his dad used to sell jewelry so he had a ring sizer ring so I was able to try on every size available (these paper ring measurers I found online kept telling me different things). Well, I actually found myself determining whether a size 7.5 or 8 fit better!!! That's 2 sizes smaller!

I think I'll get the 7.5 so it'll fit for a longer time while I continue to lose weight!

My weight loss surprised my boyfriend!!

It was great! I showed Adan my photo gallery on Extrapounds and I showed him my fattest pic to my skinniest pic and boy was he amazed! I mean, he knew I was losing weight, but because we hang out so much, he didn't see the difference until then. He was flabbergasted!

Anyways, a little update... I'm a size 12 now (from an 16/18) and  I wear M/L shirts now (compared to L/XL). I still have to work on toning my flabbiness (my tummy, arms, and inner thighs) but I have made it very far.

Tomorrow is my gallbladder removal surgery. I'm so nervous... I feel like eating a huge chocolate cake, but I know that's just emotional eating that'll lead to more food, and I don't want to create that habit again. So yes, that's my update. See ya!

Gallstones

I just came back from visiting with my surgeon. I'm having my gallbladder removed. Stupid gallstones. Probably from all those years of bad eating. Grr... I'm going to have 4 small scars (1 through my belly button) If I ever want to show of my slim body, I'm gonna have to wear those "tankinis" that the shirt ends at your waist. *sigh* There goes my dream of wearing the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka-dot bikini to the beach. Who knows... I might be saying this now, but I might get the guts later and just do it. But right now, gallbladders suck....

I FIT INTO MY SKINNY JEANS AGAIN!!!

Well, I was able to fit in them before, but with a little muffin top when I tried them on last Friday, but today I had the confidence to go out with them! I bought these jeans back in 2004/2005 when I was walking to FIU everyday and weighed about 190-ish. Back then, I wouldn't wear them so often because my thighs were thick (they still are) and the pants wouldn't go as high up as they should. Now, they fit comfortably. I can't wait until I tell my boyfriend. It's gonna be a bittersweet day when I don't fit in them again... not because they'll be tight again, but because they're going to be so loose!!!

Off the Cruise and a Day Past my B-Day...

I only have two events to dread and then it's back to no more cheating. I ate so much on the cruise, but I went to the gym to make up for it. Plus we walked all around the islands. Then yesterday was my birthday..I ate a small slice of hispanic cake (eclair-like filling and merengue frosting) and about 8 small croquetas, 2 bocaditos, and 2 guava pastelitos. I didn't eat dinner yesterday to make it up. Already this week, two people from work have complimented me on my loss... But I'm afraid of these compliments. I mean, I appreciate them, but I'm afraid my stomach will hear and say to my brain that it's ok to have that slice of pie 'cause I've lost soo much that I won't notice it. I have to overcome my brain!! Ok, I got a little hyper. I was shopping for pants yesterday and I tried a couple of 13's... they were a little tight but they did close with no problem. I guess I'll have to stick with 14 or 15 until I lose a little more. I might go to Walmart today... who knows... or get my work pants tailored....I really do like these pants... the bad side to losing weight...LOL...ok, I'll end it here. Til next time!!

5 days away from my cruise

I'm so excited!!! I easily lost that pound that got me all depressed last week. Too bad there is no healthy way to lose 6 lbs in 5 days, if not I'd do it just to get to 200lbs right before the cruise. During the cruise, I'm gonna have to spend extra attention in what I'm putting in my mouth, especially with the vacuum of a boyfriend that I have. There is a gym on board and I am bringing gym clothes. My boyfriend even wants to go with me. He got so depressed on Saturday when we went to Publix. I lost a lot and he gained. He's 190...he swore that he was 180 at most. He's kinda watching himself. Yesterday, his parents bought pizza for lunch and he had 3 large slices. And then at night we went to Wendy's, and he had the croutons to my salad. That's it. I still can't get him to stick to, at most, 400 calories meals and 100 calorie snacks, but he loves his Marie Calender's (600-700 a meal!). Well, we'll see how he does this week and on the cruise. I gotta go...I'm at work and I have a lot to get done before Friday. See ya!!

So freggin' depressed

I gained a pound!!! And before the cruise!! That's what I get for having more snacks than I should...And getting tastes here and there from my boyfriend's food... I gotta stop... I'm 12 days away from the cruise!! I think it might be stress that I'm snacking so much... I have so much to do before I leave and they keep piling unrelated things on me at work and home... I'm literally breaking out from stress... HELP!!!
