BMI

today's weight 228.9

Calculated BMI again 33.9 I'm still under the OBESE catagory, I hate that word.  If there is one goal I would love to get to is having my BMI read 29.9 which would be OVERWEIGHT that is still a not nice word but I will take it anyday over the "O" word.

Went out last night, had a nice time.  Had one cosmo then switched to water (I was driving) for the rest of the night. Still felt like the large one in the group, but that's what this blog is all about, and things are going to start changing.

Making stuffed chicken breasts and mashed potatoes tonight and I'm hungery so I hope the "in moderation" will power holds up,  the smell is wonderful coming from the oven. 

Made my  2.5 lb goal for the week.  Hope everyone was successful and if not there is a new day starting tomorrow I'll see ya there.

 

Finally Friday

Today's weight 229lbs

Felt good to get out of the 230's today.  I hope the scale continues to go down.  I did hear you usually lose weight faster when you just start out.  I guess it's water weight or something.  Did pretty good again today, went to the football game with DS.  We had a nice time and our team even won. Glad it's Friday and I get to sleep in tomorrow.

Good day at work, I stuck with fresh fruit and veggies today, bought some plain yogurt and carrots and the way home.  We ordered pizza tonight for dinner,  yummm yummm!  Now if I only could sew my mouth shut for the rest of the night and I would consider it a pretty good day.  

Thinking about getting the work out dvd the shred. I just hope I actually work out with it instead of it collecting dust next to the other ones.

I got  2 compliments at work today, someone asked me if I was losing weight  and the other liked my hair.  It's been a long time since someone said I looked nice, it felt pretty good. 

Good morning

Today's weight - 231.6 lbs

Trying to stay motivated, working my late night and we are short of help, so I really hope I don't walk out the door never to return.  Did cheat last night I went looking for food around 11pm and ate a bowl of spagetti with sausage.  Bad, bad, bad.  I know it's emotional eating about  the pressure of going to work today.  Well, one thing for sure, I won't have time to think about food today.  See, there is a good side to everything!

The weather is really getting cooler here and I'm still upset about the jean situation.  I did dig out a pair of those loose nylon running pants the ones that have the jackets to match, I will have to make due with them for the time being.

Day 4

Finished up yesterday not to hungry, went looking in the kitchen for my late night snack, passed up the chips and had some grapes. 

 With all the thoughts off losing weight I forgot to take my BP pill.  Hopefully it will no longer be needed if I continue to lose weight and exercise. The scale showed I am down another pound  so I'm starting off the day with a good attitiute. 

 I read alot and had down time for me yesterday so today will be devoted to my DSs.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Something for me

Went and had my nails done this morning. It's the something special I promised myself.  Still not biting them and they're not looking too bad.  Thinking about getting my hair highlighted since  I'm now use to my new shorter style that was done last week.

I've been thinking about my goals, ideally it's safe to lose 2lb a week but I want to lose 10lbs a month, so in 10 months that would be my 100 lbs and being that i've already went from 250 to 233 I have a little jump start.

Had 2 slices of the 12 grain bread with butter with coffee late morning and some grapes. Drinking water the rest of the day and will have sensible dinner.  I have stopped the beloved chips and evening snacks but I will pick up those protein bars and yogurt and start eating more  fruit and veggies.  I'm also in a late month challange to exercise 1/2 hour a day I guess I have to get my clothes off the gazelle, dust it off and start looking for some walking music.

Well I better get off the computer I've been reading blog entries for hours and my housework is waiting for me.  I'm so inspired to be here with so many others working for the same goal.  They're awesome!

losing 100 pounds

Found a support group last night that I think will help me keep motivated call "losing 100 pounds"  I'll be hanging out there awhile in case anyone is looking for me. I feel that I'm not alone with all the weight I need to lose.

Drifted away for a little while.  I'll start fresh again tomorrow.  The weather is changing and it's time to put the shorts away and pull the jeans out and they are way too tight!  I'll check in tomorrow with my progress.  I like the new updated site.
