happy halloween
well its saturday 30th oct and in less than a month i will be having my op - im nervous and happy at the same time. the difficult bit is going to be xmas and the round of parties that im expected to attend - lol well theres works , guiding and linedancing to start with - have decided that i prob will try to go to what i can - just take my own soup if its fairly early on post op and if its later then ill just have mash !!!!! lol
had thin day thursday - felt really thin and am so pleased i can get my black jeans on - they make me a bit slimmer !

the weekend
hi - well its saturday - and i had a cream tea - with a teaspoon full of clotted cream and really enjoyed it . mum in law and dad in law came home today - they have been on holiday - seperatly - mum in law said when i told her i had a date that i still had time to back out - not on your nellie !!!!! ive come too far to do that - 2 years of dieting and being good and all the associated crap that comes with it and to not go for it now would be such a cop out - my daughter thinks its the easy way out as it is - i am prepared to put myself through this so thst i am here for them in ten yars which i wont be if i dont do somme thing abouit it now

today
good day - been to hospital today - lost 2.2 kg so thats better than last month . had chat with dietician too. slim club was good too helping to get portion size right - and whats in food.
feeling good about things today too - was interviewed for local radio this morning - they want to be kept up to date on my progress- support is invaluable
one of the things the dietician said was that no foods are banned - you just have to have them in smaller quantities than usual - even chips !!!!!
thinkm what im going to miss most after op day is my xmas dinner - so im going to make turkey soup lol
am hoping m i l will allow me to cook a pre christmas dinner at her lovely house and invite mum and kat - so i have something to think about on xmas day - and dont have to sit in the bedroom with the tv!!!!
off to bed - im tired x

im back
hi guys - well its 21/10 2010 and i have just learnt i have nmy bypasss on 27th november - dont know quite how im feeling about it at the moment - its been a rollercoaster ride for the last 6 months . dad died suddenly in march and i so dont want to go like that - before he had time to say goodbye, i want to see my kids grow into adults, marry and have grandchildren i can play with - not just talk to . i decided that i needed to write down things and thought of here - so hopefully ill be back every few days to update you on my progress xx have to go to brum tmr to be weighed - put on 4 kg last month so hope i have got rid of some of that x

well i have just had my leaving present - arent friends good - the norm here is choc cake and wine as gifts i get a huge bouquet of flowers and a bowl of fruit that it will take me the best part of a week to eat . i am so thankful for it - choc cake is my big downfall. well time to dry the tears and say bye...

the hard times....
ok so last night i had a serious diet blues night - i so wanted comfort food but i managed to avert it - im not sure how but i did ! getting bit sick of rabbit food am going to try to find some decent low calorie low fat recipes - any ideas welcome - eating is a bit difficult though as i only eat beef chicken tuna and turkey - by the end i may look like a cross between a banana and a tuna fish ...lol...any way i leave my really stressfuljob today to go do a less stress ful one so here goes nowt.

the first 11 days
what a shock i had today ,day 11 of my diet. i was weighed at work and found i have lost 1 stone 2lbs in 11 days !!!! im shocked and sooo happy.
i saw a dietician at the and took her advice started eating breakfast - i will look like a banana by the end of my diet - i have also stopped eating chocolate and crisps although i doalllow myself a bag of wotsits or quavers a day. the difference is amazing . i have bought a stepper and have been swimming 4 times in the past week - luckily i love swimming . and ihave stepped up my line dancing so im not sittingaround i amdancing. i am going to do this even if my dear brother says i cant - i want to get into a pair of black trousers fromany shop not just whatever fits from evans . any tips fromany one more than welcome . good luck everyone
