WI - 21/01/08
Well on Monday I weighed in at 16st 7lbs - which meant another 3lb loss - so that's 7lbs in two weeks.
My feet are killing me this evening - hardly did any steps today during work - at lunch it was out shopping and then straight back. So tonight I made up for it and managed to reach 25,000. So that is 3 days in a row I've managed 25,000 and it freels great (apart from the sore feet lol).
I'm meeting some friends at the weekend and I got a text tonight asking me whether I was going to be "good or not" - as normally when I meet up with my best chums all we do is eat/drink and wake up the next morning with a hangover. So I decided that I'm going to go slowly and carefully - choose something low in fat from the menu and then I can have a few pints of cider.
I had an appointment with my Counsellor last night and I made some goals whilst I was there. Here they are:
1. Lose Weight: My first goal is to get back into the 15's before my birthday on 6 March - which would mean lose 8lbs in 6 weeks. I think that is reasonable.
2. Long term goal - to get off the insulin. I know that if I exercise and lose weight then in the future I could be insulin free and just have to take the tablets. Plus the Diabetic Nurse told me yesterday there were other tablets around that I could take instead of taking insulin - so I may have a chat with my dr.
So - I have some clear goals. I have a few other goals buzzing around my head as well but will see about those when I've done one of the above.
