First Weigh In
Well I weighed myself today and I've put on 9lb, which is actually better than I thought for 3 months off the diet! I'm more disappointed with the inch gain than the weight gain, but again it isnt half as bad as it couldve been so I just have to keep going and I will get there!
I've managed to cut right back on the smoking today - I've had four all day and usually I'd be on my 20th by now! I'm hitting the gym after work tomorrow for an hour and plan to go at least 3 times this week, plus squeeze in some time on my excercise bike at home too. My eating hasnt been brilliant today purely because if I'm not smoking I tend to eat instead but it's worked before and eventually settles down and I dont need to turn to food. I'm not going to wait until I completely give up smoking before I start excercising or I'll always have an excuse not to.
My friend I was excercising and dieting with previously now has her own home so we dont see each other as often so I've got my mum taking monthly pics of me so I can stick them in my book again and monitor my progress. My mum liked the idea so much she wants to come over every monday so I can take pics of her too and do our weight and measurements together, which will be good as it will keep us both going!
Well here's hoping to a weight loss this week if I can stop substituting cigarettes for food!
