Today, was another busy day. Well actually the whole weekend was very busy. I ended up working Monday for 13.5 hours, so my eating was all over the place. I worked the midnight shift and ended having to work overtime and didn't get off until 1:30 p. I was tired with little food but I did have my instant oatmeal (weight control) to get me by.
When I got home I didn't want to go to sleep right away even though I was tired because I didn't want to be up half the night.
I'm on the swing shift this week (4-midnight) and it does change the way I eat. I end up eating less because I'm so busy I forget to eat. If I don't eat before I go to work I won't. To me that's a good thing even though I know it's not.
Thursday, I go to the doctor's for my Phentermine. I can't wait but at the same time I'm a little nervous too. I can't wait to see if I will be successful on the medication. I have to start to exercise more which I can't wait. My back problems have gotten so much better in these last two years, I hardly have pain anymore but I don't want to over do it.
So until my next post, everyone take care and stay strong.

One day at a time
Just take it one day at a time. You don't want to do too much too soon especially with your back problems. Maybe you could bring some healthy snacks to munch on when you get a moment at work to keep you going like nuts or carrot sticks. They are healthy and give you good energy too! :0)
Remember to lose weight we still need to eat. I know the phen kills your appetite and when you work that wacky shift it doesn't help, but make yourself eat your "so many" calories a day or whatever you are aiming for.
Sooner or later you are going to have to take a break from the phen and you need to know how to eat right for that time, so you don't gain a little weight back during the breaks...
Hiya! I am also on phen...as of 32 days I was down 23 lbs. You have to remember to eat. My goal is to change my lifestyle and diet...More exercise, less fatty food, lots of water! So when I do come off the phen, I will know how to cope without it. By the way, Phen..will constipate you...so be prepared!
When I was on phen I made sure to drink tons of water and eat lots of fiber for that reason. But also get on a good eating schedule/plan. Once I got off of phen I gained it all back because the only thing it helped me to do was not eat as much, not learn to eat well. I was still eating junk when the mood hit. I wish you lots of luck and look forward to reading about your dropping pounds!
