Before After

Another 1.5lbs down

This is an awsome website that someone had linked on the Jenny Craig website message boards. Its something that I think everyone needs to hear sometimes even though we might know it and just need to hear it. http://www.hasanyonetoldyou.com/ . I have it book marked when I need a pick me up or just need something positive.

I had my weight in yesterday at 8am and I was down another 1.5lbs. Which I honestly thought it would have been alittle more but hey, ill take what I can get. Any loss is a positive thing and a step in the right direction. However, my husband did lose 4lbs after only being on JC for a week. It makes me sad to think how much easier it is for men to lose weight than us women.

Tonight im going to work and was trying to figure out a better way to eat the food im suppose to with it being busy. Most nights I dont even get a chance to eat dinner until 1am sometimes. So we will see how my stratagey does tonight.

Today though I did roast the zucchuni, onions, and some mushrooms in the oven for the week. Also cooked some yellow squash and onions on the stove top too for the week. Tomorrow I guess ill think of something to do with the egg plant after I get home in the morning and get some sleep in. I also want to do something with the cucumbers and tomatoes. So gotta find some kinda salad recipe for those.

Breakfast: Fruit and Granola, a medium bannana, and a cup of milk

Snack: Peanut Butter Anytime Bar

Lunch: Turkey Burger Sandwhich with BBQ Sauce, a slice of onion, tomatoe, and some spinach leaves

Water Intake: 6 - 8oz Glasses

Exercise:

Veggies

Love your idea of roasting the veggies for the week.  I don't eat eggplant, other than in soup, so can't offer any suggestions.  Regarding the cucumber and tomato, have you tried throwing in onion and soaking them in vinegar?  My Dad used to make that for a quick and easy summer salad when I was growing up.  He would also put in a few ice cubes in the bowl to keep everything cool and crisp.

Glad to meet someone else on EP that is on Jenny Craig.  Looking forward to reading about your journey.

Best regards!
