Another 3 Down!
Had my WI today and another 3 lbs down!! WOOT!! Thats 17 lbs so far in 2 months which isnt bad. Granted it could prolly be more or alteast I think it could. Went to the gym and had my work out session 2 times this week. Next week im aiming for all 3 sessions and going to the gym and doing cardio on the 2 days between my sessions. Its nice to have the next 2 days off work though to just relax after the last 2 weeks of working 56hrs each.

Work-a-holic Week #1
This is another attempt to try and make a post atleast everyday this week. I know I have said in the past that im going to try and do this and yet ive failed.
This week has been rough of my workout schedule since I haven't worked out this week at all. I have worked 6 days this week for a total of 56 hours. Starting today im working another 6 day week for a total of 66 hours. I had cancelled all 3 of my personal training sessions due to me being so tired and needing what sleep I was able to get. I slept all day yesterday though due to it being my only day off this week and my husband pretty much telling me that I needed to sleep the whole day due to my mood, etc.
After cancelling my Saturday training session I asked my trainer if we could change the times I work out to 9:30am on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. This way when im doing after working out I can hopefully sleep for more than 2-4 hours at a time and get more unintrupted sleep.
My eating habits as far as sticking to the plan has been okay 70% of the time. Today, we went to weigh in at JC and I lost the 3 lbs that I had gained from working out the week prior so much and im back at 338 lbs. The bad thing is next week is another 6 day work week for a total of 66 hrs. Next week im not going to work so much, cause I fear that with me trying to do so much my immune system is going to be shot and I will be sick again like last year which I am trying to avoid.
There are 3 girls at work that are doing either LA Weight Loss or Weight Watchers. I am the only one doing Jenny Craig. Ive looked at the other programs they are on. They base the loss on what Jenny Craig does cept your cooking your own meals from the start or counting points. I feel like this is going to end up being some type of competition between us on who loses the most weight on which program.
Breakfast: JC Breakfast Stuffed Sandwhich, 8oz glass of Fat-free Milk, and a Banana
Snack: 24 pieces of Roasted Sea Salt Almonds
Lunch: JC Rotini with Meatballs, 2 tblsp Parmasan Cheese, and a Coke Zero

Frustrated
Well, I thought I had a good week. Went for my weigh in at JC today. Gained another 1 lb. GAH!!! I was totally honest with my JCC about my binge at OutBack on Valentines Day. I have worked out this week and ate pretty much on plan except that one day. I told her its seemed that since I started to work out more the weight is going in the wrong direction that I just had lost by just eating and not even working out. Sigh, she said that its normal with working out as much as I have. I know that muscle > than fat but still. I want my weight numbers to go down and now im back at 341 lbs where 2 weeks ago I was at 338 lb. Now granted I still feel great, have energy, haven't been sick etc. so thats a plus.
I bought one of the Jenny Craig scales today at the weight in. I want to know the fat % each time im weighing in since thats what my trainer at the gym is concerned at wanting to know. I know the weight loss will come with my workout and eating right but its not exactly doing what I expected it too which is why im fustrated. So I vowed to not eat out this week, continue to work out just as hard, and eat on plan and lets see how next week goes. Im not going to give up!!
This week I worked my 42hrs and I decided to pick up the extra shift on Sunday night so thats another 14hrs overtime. Today im going to the gym and do some cardio on the treadmill, then im going to relax and take it easy before tomorrow. I am going to the gym with a friend from work this week which will be 5 days on top of my regular 3 day trainer sessions. So lots of work out time this week. I just hope I can make it and keep up with my busy schedule for the week! :)
Today ive had a Sunshine Sandwhich with half a tomatoe and glass of Orange Juice. I also took my Apex Women's Multi Vitamin and my Fat Burner. Then for lunch I had Beef Chow Mein and added a few extra shredded carrots and some low sodium soy sauce with a diet coke. For dinner after working out on the treadmill I was so hungry for a salad, I stopped at McAlister's and got a Chef Salad with Oil and Vinegar.

A Boring Sunday
Nothing really interesting to report for today :) However Im trying to get better about blogging everyday atleast (hehe) I did manage to clean up around the house today but the rest of the day I was pretty much lazy. I didn't go to the gym today, I figured I needed atleast one day of rest.
I started out the day with my Sunshine Sandwhich (which I added a piece of sliced cheese too and toasted the english muffin in the toaster) with some fresh pineapple and strawberries. I washed it all down with some milk. For my midmorning snack I had my Peanut Butter Anytime Bar, Banana, and some water. For lunch I had my Rotini with Meatballs with a salad and some Thousand Island Dressing. For my midevening snack I tried one of the Apex - Peanut Butter Cookies (This is something I gotten from the gym to try and WOW this was pretty yummy).
However, we met some friends that came to Memphis from out of town for dinner at TGIF Friday's. I wasn't happy with my dinner. I had the Jack Daniels Chicken with vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. I ate about half the vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. I did eat all the chicken though. I had a diet coke and a house salad (which I didn't get to eat all of due to our food coming out too soon). I also had about 3 loaded potatoe skins from the appetizer. Needless to say I wasn't happy with my service nor my food.
I am getting use to wearing the BodyBugg on my arm from 24hr Fitness. I think its pretty neat how it records how many calories your burning, how many steps I take, and also uploading the information to my computer to compare the calorie intake and deficit.
Calories Burned: 2662 out of 3750
Calories Consumed: 1559 out of 2500 needed
Calorie Balance: 1103 Deficit

Oh well, off to bed im falling asleep. Goodnight everyone! I will be back again tomorrow to type :)

Energized and Loving It!!
Sorry its been awhile since I last typed up on this blog. It's been busy and having to work out new schedules of life once again. My work schedule changed for the better where im working Monday thru Friday from Midnight til 8am.
I also got a gym membership at 24hr Fitness from my husband for my birthday present. I started working out with a personal trainer 3 times a week and today was the 3rd visit. WOW!! I never thought I would feel this good to be honest. I lost 5 lbs last week, what an awsome feeling. I even actually lost more than my hubby (which was a first). It made me happy :)
I was so tired after my Thursday session with my trainer. Suprisingly Friday I wasn't sore. After work that morning I went to walk on the treadmill for 3 miles. Then I went for my WI and I GAINED 2 lbs.. GAH!!! I was told its due to me working out that my muscles were swollen and it was okay. But still I like to see the scale getting smaller! Last night before work after I slept some I was sore in my arms, shoulders, and lower back. OMG WTF!!
I seriously thought about cancelling my training appointment today at 1pm but I went anyways. Only had about an hour of sleep so I was like great this is going to kick my @$$. I even told my trainer that I had thought about cancelling but I owed it to myself to come in and hopefully I wouldnt be sore with the stretching etc. It was an amazing workout today! It was totally different than the workout I had on Thursday. I FEEL GREAT! ENERGIZED! I cannot put into words exactly how great I feel.
Gota make this short though, I will type more when I get back from having dinner with husbands family. We are celebrating my birthday with the family from last week (stupid Superbowl interfered!) :)

Another Day
Well, as you can see im not doing so good on this weeks goal of trying to write on my blog daily. But yesterday was my last 14 hr shift for the month and I spent the day sleeping til 11:30pm. Nothing says lazy like sleeping for 14hrs to catch back up on my sleep. Tomorrow I start my new shift hours for February.
I just got done ready the JC message boards and making my comments and post. The dogs are running thru the house and jumping up and down on the back of the recliner im sitting in.Crazy dogs! :) They always have so much energy.
Tomorrow since I dont have to be at work til 6pm I plan on doing some housework (BLEH!) or its not going to get done. Some of the girls at work are going to start Weight Watchers this week, I tried to talk them into JC but they say its too $$$ for them (which I can understand) but its worth the cost to me and my struggle with weight.
I had the Meatloaf with BBQ Sauce (OMG so YUMMYO!!) for dinner tonight when I woke up. I was suprised how good it was. I also had Broccoli with Cheese. Im sitting here now eating my Cookies and Cream Anytime Bar (decided to try these this week since my JCC halfed a bar with my at my WI on Saturday).

WoOHooo! Another 2 lbs!
Well this morning was WI day again. I lost
lbs. YAY ME!
Ive been feeling great this week. Yesterday I went to get my hair cut and highlights, damn roots were starting to show UGH! I had to go into work and just cover the midnight til 6am shift and some co-workers made some comments about how "happy" I looked and asked if I had lost some weight. I was estatic that someone noticed that didn't see me on an everyday basis.
On another plus side, my DH has lost another 5 lbs which brings him to 9lbs in 2 weeks since he started the program. Im really happy for him, I just wish I could lose the weight as easily.
Next month my work schedule is also changing which is a plus, I hope. Instead of working 3 days a week for 14hrs a day (6pm til 8am). I will work 5 days a week 8 hrs from midnight til 8am. Hopefully this will help with me actually eating everything im suppose to at the correct times instead of just skipping meals. Plus help out with going to the gym and working out.
I have also remembered to wear my pedometer again at work. In the 14hrs I work I walk about 9500 steps which is totally AWESOME and I never realized how much I really do walk at work.
Breakfast: Multi-Grain Hoops, 1c low fat milk, 2c Apple juice
Snack: Peanut Butter Anytime Bar
Lunch: Salad (Spinach Leaves, mushrooms, tomatoes, radishes, carrots, Feta cheese, and a few kalamata olives), Balsamic dressing
Dinner: BBQ Chicken Pizza (added mushrooms and a few slices of pepperonni)
Goals for the week: Post on blog daily, do exercise tapes atleast 2x this week, think positive, wear pedometer daily
I got this as an email yesterday from Pantene Beautiful Lengths.

Another 1.5lbs down
This is an awsome website that someone had linked on the Jenny Craig website message boards. Its something that I think everyone needs to hear sometimes even though we might know it and just need to hear it. http://www.hasanyonetoldyou.com/ . I have it book marked when I need a pick me up or just need something positive.
I had my weight in yesterday at 8am and I was down another 1.5lbs. Which I honestly thought it would have been alittle more but hey, ill take what I can get. Any loss is a positive thing and a step in the right direction. However, my husband did lose 4lbs after only being on JC for a week. It makes me sad to think how much easier it is for men to lose weight than us women.
Tonight im going to work and was trying to figure out a better way to eat the food im suppose to with it being busy. Most nights I dont even get a chance to eat dinner until 1am sometimes. So we will see how my stratagey does tonight.
Today though I did roast the zucchuni, onions, and some mushrooms in the oven for the week. Also cooked some yellow squash and onions on the stove top too for the week. Tomorrow I guess ill think of something to do with the egg plant after I get home in the morning and get some sleep in. I also want to do something with the cucumbers and tomatoes. So gotta find some kinda salad recipe for those.
Breakfast: Fruit and Granola, a medium bannana, and a cup of milk
Snack: Peanut Butter Anytime Bar
Lunch: Turkey Burger Sandwhich with BBQ Sauce, a slice of onion, tomatoe, and some spinach leaves
Water Intake: 6 - 8oz Glasses

WI tomorrow
Sorry thats its been awhile since posting. Ive been busy with work and an early "spring cleaning" of my apartment .
Tomorrow is my 5th weight in and my husband started JC last Friday so its going to be his first. After talking to him about the program and the support he wanted to give me that I badly need, he signned up. Plus he wanted to loose some weight as well.
I have found out its alot easier to do the program the nights that I dont work. The nights that I do I struggle to eat all the items that im suppost to at certain time frames. Im going to see what I can change this week the days I work to see if I can make it easier somehow. Ive posted on the JC website forums to also see if I can get advice. Im going to talk to my JCC about it as well.
The other problem ive been having is not always wearing my pedometer to see exactly how much I am walking. I either forget it at home when I go to work and just dont wear it even while im at home. Today however I have wore it for the most part. I think ive fixed the problem of never having it on. I am going to leave it on the bedside table each night so its easy to pick up in the mornings and take back off when im getting into bed to sleep.
Last night I tried to show my husband what JC calls "Volumaizing". We had Chicken Fettecini and I added some frozen roasted broccoli and coliflower with garlic to it. WOW! It was YUMMO!!
Ive also been looking at other JC'ers blogs on extrapounds.com to see how they do their blogs each day. Ive seen a few ways that I like how they describe their days and what they eat so I hope no one gets upset with me using their layouts for my blog.
See you guys tomorrow with hopefully good news!

Happy New Years!
I hope that everyone has a Happy New Years! Like most people with their new year resolutions mine once again will be to eat healthier, lose weight, exercise more, and try to be happier with myself.
I've started back on a good track already with rejoining with Jenny Craig 2 weeks ago. So far its been a small and steady climb to chipping away the weight. I did go home for Christmas and that was a rough one and I did eat some unhealthy and off the diet things. Its hard to start a diet being on or near a holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving.
Anyways, bring on the New Year its time to make some changes!!
