Belly Dance!
Ok.....so the past two weeks I've been busy moving. I've not had time to exercise very much.
Today I will go to the gym. I'm going to take a belly dance class and then do a little treadmill. =) I think that there is a studio that teaches belly dance near my house. I also know of a great studio that is relocation near my house also. I've never tried a class at a studio. I usually go to the belly dance classes at the gym.

Busy!!
Man, I've been busy the past few days. I really want to workout, and keep having other things that must be done first. Grrrr I'm going to try to squeeze in some wiifit even if it is only for 15 minutes this evening. I really want to do an hour.

I've been busy the past two days and have not had time to workout. I need to find a way to fit a workout into my day tomorrow.....gotta do it!!!

A few "not so great" days.
I think that TOM is going to be coming soon becuase I've eaten junk over the past few days. I had been eating so well!!! I've read Atkins and South Beach and have basically taken the best from both. I'm trying to cut out processed junk-o-la and stick to as Dr. Oz says: "Food that looks the same as it did the day it came from the earth." (not a direct quote, but the gyst) I've been trying to eat meats, cheeses, veggies, and a bit of fruit. I have been using splenda and drinking some drinks with it though....not so natural, but better than the fast food crazy junk free for all I was living with before.
Over the past few days I (for lack of better phrase) fell of the wagon. I don't even own a wagon or know anyone who does. hehe I've had cake twice, 3 doughnuts, Captain Crunch, cheeze ravioli in a white sauce, 3 bread sticks, a chocolate bar over the past three days. Man! I've been eating really well for about 3 weeks and then went crazy this week. Maybe to prevent this in the future I need to pick one day a week where I can have one "processed sugary junk thing" to keep me from doing this again.
I think that it might be a combo of TOM and moving across town. Since I've been moving over the past week, we've gone out to eat a ton.
My brain has been saying, "Oh just quite and eat what cha want." BUT I'm trying to push through and not listen. I just worked out and will be going to the grocery store in a bit to purchase healthy things for the next few days.
Game plan: buy heathly food, eat it.

Dance Dance Revolution!
Oh my gosh! I purchased a Dance Dance pad over a year ago, but gave the game that came with it to my sister, because it was hard to come by where she lived and she REALLY wanted it. I figured I'd buy another game....um....over a year later and no game. I went to the game store last night and picked up 2 used Dance Dance Revolution games for cheap.
I just got done doing 30 minutes of DDR. Wow! I'm all sweaty and had a great workout. I didn't think that it would be that great of a workout. I'm happy because it was all cardio, and I just got WiiFit which doesn't seem to give my real hard-core cardio. Soooooo.....if I do 30 minutes of Dance Dance for cardio and then jump on my Wii Fit, I think that that will be an awesome workout!
If you have a playstation or Wii, you can pick up the Dance Dance Revolution pad and game combo for $60-70 new. I think that they also sell generic pads for a bit cheaper, and you can do what I did and grab up used games for $15-25 each when you want to add some variety. I tried one game today, and it had some great songs on it.
Dance Dance Revolution is great!

Wii Fit
I purchased a Wii and Wii Fit last night. Holy cow! After I got all of the odds and ends, it ended up costing as much as a treadmill would! It was fun though. I'm not too sure how much of a workout I'll get out of it, but it's better than sitting on the couch.

The Scale's Not Moving!
Grrrr! I'm starting to get annoyed by my scale! It's not moving! Grrr! I'm moving this weekend. Hopefully Zumba class tonight and moving this weekend will move the scale.

First Big Bump In The Road
Arrggg!! I had been down to 219 and today the scale reads 223 Ibs.....gggrrrr!!! I was happy to be into the 2-teens. I think that I might be eating too many almonds. I got different flavored ones, and I might have too many. TOM is due to show up sometime soon. I hope that that is why my weight has gone up a few pounds. I've been eating well and exercising. I did take three days off because my ankle was hurting. I wanted to avoid an injury. Last night I went to two belly dance classes over a span of three hours. I was hope'n that with the three hours of dance last night I'd wake up to 218 today. I'm trying to not let this get me down too much so that I don't throw in the towel....stupid towel! I will continue on with my towel, toting it along like Linus with his blanket.
On a positive note.....belly dance was great last night! It was my first real class (meaning a class that was not at the gym). I felt happy, healty, and beautiful!
