Eating Out

I've eaten out twice this week. Both times I've done OK. I wanted to be "perfect", but being better than I used to is good! I used to eat as much bread as the server would bring out, clear my plate totally, and want dessert. This time I had a small bit of bread (thought I wanted to have none). I guess a small bit is better than what would equal 1/4 a laof! I left food on my plate (oh the guilt of waste!), and I didn't have dessert. I think eating out is much better than it used to be. I go out less often and eat better when I am out.

Note to self: You don't need to be perfect. You just need to be better than when you were being really unhealthy!


OK, it's off to Zumba now!

Small steps!

The small steps you take over time will build your ability to make the right choices whether it's eating out, or making the choices at home or in the grocery store. So take those small steps (like limiting the bread when you eat out), and realize that you don't have to be perfect to make progress!
